the team wide malaise thing seems to happen every year doesn't it? always seems more painful when they're in it but it sure seems like its sort of a davey phenomenon. not like i've done the research but it sure seems like its been under his tenure that this pops up like recurring herpes.
@golferinatlanta Dave Roberts mismanagement of the bullpen is crazy. He puts wrong guys in the wrong time. He blows through 5 relievers in 3 innings to finish up what should have been easy game. Nats actually had tying run at the plate..I can't believe anyone here thinks Roberts is any good, just because his loaded teams won 3 Championships.

we all know no matter what davey and the FO are going to stick there flags in his camp and slowly sink w the ship. only hope is this insane pitching continues and guys like Pages and Betts provide some key hits. the ohtani ego thing is as massive as anything ever and if he insists on being out there in the bright lights nothing will stop it. i'd have a lot more respect for him if he just said he couldn't do it and he's hurting the team. everyone sees it. little honesty would be great.
