That fan in RF can go fuck himself. Don't know if Puig's would've gone out but he should have at least given it a chance. Selfish douche
Vic the Brick earlier on the radio interviewing Puig: "What were your thoughts as that hillbilly lunatic started yelling at you?" Lol
I was there last night and it was awesome Didn't notice how many home runs Joc had this month. Great bullpen win
Haven't checked yet, but LAD has to be tops or at least 2nd in MLB in total HRs from the up the middle/premium defensive positions. Joc with 24, Chase with his 12, Corey with 25, and Yaz with however many he has/27 I think I saw? They're kickin ass and none of them were really locks to do this for various reasons. Haven't had the chance to say since his latest masterpiece, but Chase Utley is greatest, most dynamic, old man defensive player I've ever seen in my life. Never imagined he could 1 up the play he made from his back against the Cubs, but then he pulls off a fall away/no looker. Lol I hope he starts at 2B again next year, its been a pleasure watching him work and he has been unbelievable. And when your starting staff is transitioning to younger arms as well having a Maeda who can get grounders + you're constantly trying to solidify your bullpen and keep it fresh, it means the world to have a great infield defensively, especially up the middle and they're great with Utley leading the charge. So yeah, viva Chase Utley and congrats to him on the RC award, he more than earned it. He sets a great example. I think at this point everybody would be a little disappointed if he had no magic in the post season just because as MLB's answer to Chuck Norris you kinda expect him to do something miraculous. If only Vin could call it...
Have plans tonight but I fear missing an incredible night. Kershaw on the mound, Vin taking us through the game and the out of town scoreboard for a potential clinch....
So has Roberts finally figured out that Anderson and kazmir should be nowhere near a mound for this team come playoff time?
one of the reasons i feel this team is special, perhaps destined the 2008/2009/2013 teams were very good but there was something lacking an intangible this team has that "it" some people scoff at chemistry but there's definitely something to be said about a team that gets along a team that likes playing together i saw it last night after ethier's hr the guys in the dugout were giddy for him joc, yasmani, adrian i haven't seen that type of love since '88 as far as the team there is a greater balance than any of those prior years i mentioned arguably the best three starters kersh/hill/maeda the best lineup [especially 1-6] from top to bottom and, as mentioned, the best bullpen they also appear to be getting hot at the right time -- even hitting lefties lately and the one thing we possess that not all teams have -- depth i wasn't sure what to make of it when the front office started preaching it but i now understand can't say for sure what this team will accomplish after all, there is that crapshoot factor in any short series but all i can say is that i have a feeling maybe i'm getting overly emotional with all the vinny celebrations but this could be a special year our year
