    i listened to cubs fans tell me that all last year and it happened for them
    watching this year i firmly believe we have that thing

    Yeah I still remember the magical 40-8 stretch or whatever it was from a few years ago, so personally, I won´t be proclaiming that this is the year.
    However, I do think LAD´s run of getting to the playoffs has no end in sight.
    With Babe Bellinger joining the mix, playoffs seem like a lock 4 life

    Guys, I have to admit that some of the credit for this run should go to me. The first time the Dodgers surpassed the Rockies in the standings, against my better judgement, I opened and read that clearly premature thread, "Dodgers First Place Thread." I knew I shouldn't, but I did, and they quickly gave up their division lead. This time I've promised myself to open it again no earlier than August, and so far it's working.

    Similarly, whenever I board a plane, I have this superstition where I have to touch the outside of the aircraft. I know it works because I've yet to be on a plane that crashed. Pretty good logic, huh?

    So I believe that was Bellinger´s 10th HR coming in the 8th inning or later
    IIRC, 6 or so of them coming in a close game
    His high leverage and clutch numbers are sparkling
