Just kidding... but this guy apparently hates him. Like very very much. check it out http://www.ladodgertalk.com/2011/12/screw-hiroki-kuroda/
it's not really Hiro's fault he's gone if Ned would have went after him first and foremost and use the rest of the money on whatever he wanted, it would have been fine. Ned doesnt know how to manage money The useless Guerrier and Uribe signings killed Kuroda for 2012 stupid blog post. apparently it was sarcasm, but that really didnt seem like sarcasm
If that guy is for real, he's the biggest moron ever... let me see if I get this... its HiKu's fault NOT to accept a trade to play in the East Coast and help the Dodgers land a few prospects, and now that the team turned its back on him (just because he doesnt want to play for peanuts) he cant go out and sign elsewhere??? It was Ned who sent him out, not him... he's not doing an Ethier saying "this is my last year here". I bet that if he was offered a 2 year $24M ($11M for 2012, $13M for 2013) he would have accepted. BUT, fucking Ned opted to sign Capuranus and Herman Monster for about the same salary, instead of HiKu and Eovaldi... oh, and BTW, also blocking De La Rosa to come back healthy in 2013... so, where is that Kuroda's fault????
Agreed. If anyone is to blame here it's Ned (again, shocker). If you put a no-trade clause in someone's contract, expect them to use it.
if ned was not our GM kuroda would be our #4 pitcher at 7M per year for the next two years kuroda can pitch well but he is not going to go out there and win you a game he doesnt have that mentality what he is though is a toyota not to be a racist bastard but you know what i mean he is a toyota camry that is going to get you to work every day on time and not break down or give you a hard time... just dont expect much else no style points for sure, you aint gonna be picking up any chicks cuz of that camry if you know what i mean so you dont pay the dude like if he was some kid from the midwest with a chip on his shoulder cuz his daddy was a hard ass that rode him hard until he became a killer on the mound that just wants to drill the ball into his dads face which he pictures on the front of the awaiting catchers mitt you pay that guy 16m bucks a year for as many years till his arm falls off and you pay him more when you have to he is a dodge challenger with a high powered hemi engine
great analogy... Kuroda is not a #1 or #2... he's a #3 that will be out there giving you high quality innings and lots of them, but he wont carry your team... BUT, in this market, where a #3 is getting over $10M a year, a solid #3 deserves the $12M he will get... the problem is when you decline to give him the money but give $4M and $5M to low quality players that should be making $1M or $2M...
So he replied with this. Open Letter to M. Brown of theLFP.com, It’s ironic that the people who accuse me of being vile are as vile as they say I am. You attack and berate lots of people, so I don’t really feel privileged. It’s just amazing that you are such a simpleton who doesn’t know a joke when he sees it… uh, no it’s not, I guess. Maybe you’ll introduce yourself to me some day instead of hiding in your internet fortress. See, I don’t hide. I use my real name, my real picture and I live by the motto: “I said it. I Meant it. And I’m here to Represent it.” I apologize to those of you who don’t have the brains or understanding to know a joke when you see it. I am truly sorry for you. Now, go hide behind your keyboard in your Mommy’s basement. You are pretty average at photoshop though. That’s something… but what’s so hard about putting his mouth where mine was. A 5th grader can do that.
If enough people respond saying "I don't get that it's a joke", then it was a bad joke. The audience is a major part of the communication process, and you can't just refute their interpretation of the message.
Does it have anything to do with the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor today? Like an Andy Kaufman thing?
