    it's absurd how much he K's. He'll get eaten up by elite pitching. He's basically a kinda better hitting version of Enrique at this point.

    Time for a Pederson-Verdugo-Puig outfield.

    Realize that Taylor and Muncy are probably role players and Kemp is the 4th best hitting OFer on the 40 man. They can ride pine and get plenty of ABs PHing or spot starting every now and then.

    It’s incredible how Machado and Dozier carry lineups for years and we add them to Turner, Bellinger, Puig, Muncy and Grandal and we can’t win games. This 4 gamer in Colorado better go well.

    We’ve played nothing but good teams since the All star break and now play a desperate Colorado team. Arizona is gonna face off against the Reds, Rangers, Padres, and Angels. Have to win series against good teams and pray for an Arizona slump cause it doesn’t look good

    A little sadder every time you ask that question. WTF ever happened to just being a hitter no matter what hand the pitcher is throwing with? Shit sucks.

    Reynolds constantly criticizes platoons, but what are you supposed to do with incomplete hitters? I have at least some optimism for Verdugo, he was outstanding against LHP in AAA. Actually about 40 OPS points better against LHP this year than he was against RHP, at least with OKC anyway. Seemed as if we had one last year when Belli was crushing LHP..

    What I don't like about them is when (for instance) a guy like Pederson has a nice stretch against RHPs and the Dodgers face a couple of LHPs in a row. Now he sits on the bench on the heels of a good run. His timing is now disrupted.

    Sadly Kike hasn't done his job. That would be an easy platoon with Joc if he was mashing lefties like he's supposed to. Even with 17 HRs he has a sub 100 WRC+. His defense is spectacular but the offense is bad.
