Pardon the use of the "g" word in the title.

Just a thread to get some thoughts on our current play.

A few analysts have chalked it up to our time finally getting healthy.

Others have said it was the energy and production of Puig that caught fire.

Others have said that we are playing above our heads.

I think it goes back to the series with the Dbacks. I think that that series sparked something in this team. I think they realized that other teams were looking past us. I also think they got really pissed at the bush league way that AZ plays ball.

So which is? one of these, all of these, none of these?

    Vote and respond.

Puig helped enormously, obviously. But I think it's just getting healthy and finally the veterans waking up and playing together. Too many times we'd score 5 and give up 6. Then score 1 and give up 2. We're pitching and hitting the same time now. That's pretty much it

    Also, roids

We are just getting healthy and every is starting to click. If Andre wakes up and Kemp becomes Kemp, this lineup is ridic.

I also think HanRam is as big a story as Puig; the guy has been incredible.

Puig made the rest of the team, w the exception of andre, embarrassed to waltz through their paychecks. and the pitching continued to be nails. and Hanley came back.

It's a combination of finally getting healthy and Puig being awesome.

And we aren't even fully healthy. Cause if Kemp was Kemp we wouldn't lose a game again.

This team is going to be unreal in 2 years. Kemp will have gotten over this shoulder surgery completely barring any major setbacks, Hanley will still be in his prime, Yasiel Puig is going to be more tuned in, and Gonzo should still be a +.800 OPS player.

Dre or Craw will be gone for sure or maybe even both if Joc forces his way up here. Corey Seager should be holding down the hot corner.

Good times ahead folks, damn good times ahead.

I feel we're finally playing to our potential. The current winning streaks help by making our players play happier, which I feel is a big part of their success. We're playing with confidence. Like last night, we were down after Ryu gave up the lead. Usually, we'd just end up giving up, but AGon had a great professional at bat and Aj brought him in. We're playing better and winning battles.

If you are right and it plays like that, Stan and Logan have time to restock with actual talent. Look at what they have done in less than 2 years.

I think Hanley is the bigger story because if Hanley is Hanley again (which it damn well looks like it) he is the most valuable player in baseball.

I was kidding, but everyone blamed him for losing, I'll blame him for winning which to me is about as rational. Buncha fags. :laford:

All of the above... but the combo of Puig and HanRam have clearly taken the helm and with both hitting .400 there are few easy outs in this line up.

In fact this lineup has a murderers row potential about it

Of course Mattingly can still fuck it all up if given the chance

We stopped handicapping ourselves with the prolific Luis Cruz + Justin Sellers combo, and closing out our games with League.

Hanley and miss puigy ( :D ) hitting the cover off the ball, some timely hitting with RISP, and the pitching staff has at least kept them close in every game.can they keep it up at this pace? I doubt it unless kemp shoulders more of the load, no pun intended but I do believe.the division is a two team race between them and the dbacks and I gotta say the dodgers have the more reliable roster when healthy
