Since goodbye threads are inherently gay i'll try to keep it short
I thought about it for a while and there is no way i will ever be able to post on this site without vitriol and bile being exchanged w "best"lakersfan lmao at that name
I take the full responsibility of making a huge mistake and trying to make an internet base of fans a little closer by bringing them together.
Rube and i think Craig warned against it and they were right.
While i don't regret meeting any of you it was just the wrong thing to do and internet peeps should stay just that.
At least that is what i will take away from this experience.
My spider sense told me we had a freak amongst us and the threats of violence over opinions confirmed it. It would have been one thing if it had come anonymously but this was an adult threatening kids that he has ACTUALLY MET in person.
Add the instant anti semitic bile as well as threats of legal action against a friend and it went too far.
In fact I had a window broken out at the lair two weeks ago as well as police phone ins of a man w a gun and underage drinking to my last four events.
Of course there is no way i can say at this point for sure that amir is responsible for any of this i am working w police friends to try and find out where those calls are coming from and it would stand to reason a petty low character individual like blf would be behind it.
If those calls originated in SO be prepared bitch.
At the sage request of the owners of this site i am not going to escalate this here any further.
It does the overall site no good and i wish the best to all those at DSP and the friends i have met and posted with the last 7 or so years.
Theres a reason you have no friends amir. You don't deserve them.
And you resent and hate people that do.

What a fucked up world this is, when this kind of shit goes on and comes down to this.
I always remember that I noticed your dog, and took the same avatar for myself.
It's always better to just stop any dialogue with a poster when it's taken to a personal level with personal remarks and insults , leaving the BB aspect by the wayside. It becomes more important to some than just discussing a fucking game men play.
I hope that one day, you will return. Maybe to a board with a team that has finally done it all.

Really sad to hear. It's been fun posting with you over the years Diablo and I recall a time when you had my back during a situation with another poster awhile ago. I never attented a Lair game, but I really hope that you don't genuinely feel that way about meeting new people (even if it is over the internet), and also that you "made a mistake" inviting people. I really always believed that it was extremely generous of you to invite all of us over; and from what it sounded like, a lot of people enjoyed it.

I don't expect you to stay or put things behind you for obvious reasons, but at least try to check in once in awhile.

 

Tequila does weird things to some people. All that sugar and alcohol sits inside you after you drink it. The problem is it works like time release and hits you like a mack truck. Some people should not touch it.

Then again. The world has some seriously fucked up people in it. They hide in the WWW hoping someone opens a door.

But there is more good than bad. Talking trash, being a smart ass, purposely indifferent out of fun or self amusement or disagreeing on the net is relatively harmless. Some get a bit too into some arguements but if it's a good debate you need to eventually agree to disagree and not take it personal. If you're one to take shit too personal, the internet isn't for you.

In real life. I like to tell people this.

If strangers were just a little bit nicer to each other....we'd be living in a much nicer world.
