I’m confident we won’t hear the “Salt Lake is not an easy place to pitch” excuse, if only because it happened at OKC. Game, set and match. The guy simply cannot pitch for the #Dodgers again this year.
I logged in just to post this exact thing. OKC won yesterday, their 14th straight. The Comet pitching staff in general has been on an unfathomable roll. Today, six Comet pitchers combined to throw another 8.1 scoreless innings. Unfortunately, Diaz' colon exploded in his bed during his .2 innings, giving up five and OKC's streak ends, 0-5. Yeah, the offense didn't help, but why does he always need them to bail him out? He can't be part of the Dodgers bullpen this year, no way. He needs the Conforto treatment.
