    these guys came up on FB and besides being really decent players they don't take themselves too seriously. imagine they sobered up somewhere along the line and ended up doing the small club thing. anyways i'm guessing it'll make you smile the same way it did me. they have fans blowing their hair/wigs? and make all the cliche moves and gestures. love it! if i'm in Tenn i'll look for them for sure.

    funny thing about the bee gees
    back in the late 70s/early 80s i hated them and everything disco
    actually loathed them
    then decades later a funny thing happened…
    one of their songs came on the radio while i was driving
    not only did i not hate it, i actually liked it and somehow remembered all the lyrics
    i then realized it was probably equal parts peer pressure/machismo that made me not like them
    they’re actually great songwriters and vocalists, with harmonies patterned after lennon/mccartney and brian wilson

    before the disco era and a great live version of a song. how tight were they?


    but this still sounds like one of the most beautiful songs i ever heard. iconic song, iconic movie/scene, iconic moment in history. never got tired of it

    love Curtis and know we've talked about him multiple times in this thread but it blow me away this is 1970. i'm 8 and recall listening to this back then. attests to the incredible taste in music my big sister and her friends had back then.

    My big brother played his Roots album until the grooves were gone. Like you, lucky to have a big brother & sis to give me great music while I was too little to know any better.
