lol i'm in the same boat i have a friend who's having a fight party, but he lives about 60 miles away definitely not paying the $100 fee by myself hopefully the above link works
Here's another link: http://live.drakulastream.eu/player...eather-manny-pacquiao-other-boxing-59937.html FYI, no active stream yet. FWIW, my heart says Pacman (in 7 by KO). My head says Mayweather by decision.
My heart says Pacman KO's him in the first round, then after, jumps on him and continues punching him until it knocks some sense into Mayweather's arrogant ass.
That's why I dont pay for fights, and why tickets were still available for falling prices, and room rates were falling too. This was going to be a dog of a fight. Manny is way past his prime. An agressive, attacking fighter will show signs of age faster than a fighter that plays a more defensive, counter-punching style. There was little chance Manny was going to win against that style at his age, and a step slower to boot. This was a fight years too late, and it showed. I was hoping something dramatic would happen, and Floyd get his rear-end handed to him, but it wasnt going to happen. This was like the Phantom Menace of boxing. Lots of hype. Lots of anticipation, but ultimately boring and useless. But what really annoys me is how the boxing "experts" are trying to justify the sad state of boxing today by droning on about Mayweather's brilliance, and dominating style...his skill, his prowess.....etc....etc. Get over yourselves. He's boring. His style is boring. The whole state of boxing is a snooze. I mean are we really going to call Mayweather the best pound for pound fighter ever with a defensive, dont hit me style. You're going to put him next to Ray Robinson, Ali, Frazer, LaMotta, Ray Leonard, Hearns, Hagler.....really!?!?!?
I know. Clearly those days are gone because fighters like Mayweather have learned that the best fight is the next one because it's another chance to rake in the dough. Prolong your career and dont get hurt, and you're golden. Dont be Mike Tyson and lose to a 100:1 underdog and never be the same again. And the sport lets him get away with it because there is literally NO ONE left in boxing worth 10 cents to get jazzed about. Mayweather is it, and boxing may have shot off its last load with this fight. The heavyweight class is a joke. He middle-weight class is empty (these were once where most of the big names and excitement came from). The only action is coming from the spaghetti weight classes from the drop box of sanctioning bodies....bantomweight, featherweight, etc.....classes where you can gain 5 pounds, land in another weight class, and then fight a nobody for another crown. This is why May and Manny are so hyped. But Mayweather really gets praised over and above where he should be.
Agreed, the sports been a major disappointment for too long. Good fights are fewer and far between and costly as all hell. Tonights fight was a more a symptom of the obvious.
