The lame ass jack off might be one or two members of the FO, too. Very possible.
Not very astute for established geniuses as far as their public statements regarding Puig, and a few other topics along with him.
How does a statement like that in the article by an LAD FO member help the Puig situation at all, in any way, whether trading him or keeping him?
Misleading, confusing and outright bs scattered every time they open their mouth.

But that was a quote as I understood it.
You might be right, but they haven't exactly been exactly set free from speaking the Truth, imo
It gettong to the point now with Puig, where to me, they just seem like bullies.

Boston vs. Los Angeles. When it comes to these rivals I find any opinion to be suspect.

Dodgers attempting to “give away” Puig
by Matthew Moreno | Dodger Blue — 3 hours ago

Yasiel Puig’s rocky tenure with the Los Angeles Dodgers hit a new low this season when the club optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Puig’s demotion was the first of his career and came at a perplexing time.

Although the 25-year-old was again suffering from some inconsistency, he’d seemingly turned a corner since coming off the disabled list in June. Nonetheless, the Dodgers attempted to trade Puig prior to the Aug. 1 non-waiver deadline.

Unable to move him and with Josh Reddick’s arrival, Los Angeles resorted to sending Puig to the Minors in a decision that was said to be tied to behavioral and off-the-field matters.

Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman recently expressed optimism that Puig would benefit from his time in the Minors.

Friedman also traveled to Oklahoma City to watch Puig play, and had what Friedman described as a positive discussion.

However, it appears the Dodgers are attempting to trade their enigmatic outfielder, according to Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe:

The Dodgers are trying to give away Puig, but no luck. Puig, with Triple A Oklahoma City, is considered toxic at the moment, but it takes only one team to want him. He doesn’t have too many allies in the Dodgers organization, but as one team official said recently, “At some point, the talent, the maturity is going to take hold. Someone will benefit from it. We hope it’s us, but it’s hard to envision it right now.”

The notion that the Dodgers would sell low on Puig is a difficult one to accept. Particularly when considering the front office decided against a trade during the offseason, when his stock was also low.

What’s more, Puig is batting .417/.472/.750 with two doubles, one triple, four home runs and 12 RBIs in 13 games with Oklahoma City. He took responsibility for being demoted and spoke of needing to improve as a teammate in order to return to the Majors.

If placed on trade waivers this month, it’s believed the Atlanta Braves would consider in putting in a claim on the dynamic talent.

If the Dodgers really can't find anyone willing to claim him AND they want no part of him on the 2016 team anymore, then wouldn't they just DFA him? His 40 man spot is a valuable one in that case with roster crunches coming and needed for some MLB help

So, I'm skeptical that no one will claim him or that the Dodgers dont have a glimmer of hope he'll improve enough to warrant a call up. Just my two cents, it's probably more complicated then that but yeah

That he didn't get the callup despite his OKC numbers and Reddick's struggles shows what an incredible ahole the organization thinks he is.

Whenever the media says that the dodgers have no takers for Puig it and that they cant 'give him away'... they mean that nobody is willing to part with the type of talent the dodgers want in return for Puig.
The Dodgers could eat his salary (the give him away part), but they want some talent back.
The other teams dont want to give the type of talent the Dodgers want back.
Which is substantial. They arent giving him away.

and to note, most places writing these sorts of stories are based in hostile MLB cities.

Puig is a talented jerk but we're not "giving him away" regardless of what some hack in Boston might write

What is constantly disappointing is how our fans are so quick to believe the enemies lies.
Its almost like they are telling them what they want to hear and so they are quick to believe.
Which makes these Dodger fans the prime audience for the enemies.

People tend to hear what they want to hear
and Angelenos have long been a fickle bunch
listening to media highly biased AGAINST Los Angeles
which is beyond the "what have you done for me lately"?

Umm Sorry, I forgot to notice

    exactly
and i said this since he was demoted -- you won't see puig in a dodger uniform again

they have to until 8/31 to try and trade him (through waivers)
and if no takers, don't be surprised if he's dfa'd promptly on 9/01

if they can get him to change his attitude/work ethic then i'd be all for it
but as fsu alluded, they haven't called him up despite his numbers and with reddick struggling so the writing may already be on the wall

    Yeah I'm not in disagreement

Nor do I dispute the FO decisions in this realm

Puig NEEDS to sober up and focus and if not then it is highly advantageous to let him wallow in the minors, teach him some perspective of how you act in the MLB clubhouse.. a stance Mr. Roberts seems to understand
