Happy with the result. We take another series and maybe that will finally stop the wrist-cutting that was going on in these game threads for awhile.

Just what I was thinking as well...a win where CC is the only starter to get a hit(s) has gotta stop the wrist-cutting...for like half an hour.

Attaboy CK and Kike. Almost sounds like a superhero-duo. " CK and Kike! "

I'm really very OK with that. I always coveted his talent for us, completely disregarding the whatever number commandment...
Kershaw is such an amazing athlete...he keeps rewriting the envelope, and is a rock for us.
Bravo, Clayton...whatever happens to us, it's always a pleasure knowing what can possibly happen when you take the mound...always a chance to witness BB history being made with you on the hill.

    Well...it might.
Remembering however, it was CK and Zack that stopped the "cut on dotted line" around our wrists (those with the tendency).
Now, we have our bottom three out there, and we will most likely see our vaunted BP before Kenley for a bit, and hopefully, the razors will stay in the drawer. We all can't be so mature when watching the BP with the highest ERA since the AS break. A boy's game with boys watching, really.
The chances of Latos, Wood or Anderson are somewhat less than CK and Greinke going zero runs and 8 innings, like CK did, so we'll see. Also the return of Hatcher is somewhat clouded as to where he's at...so this will be the test.
At least Yimi looked very good out there, and Avilan, too, finally.
    We'll find out soon enough....

i understand the reactions and (lol) wrist cutting when we struggle
when you're supposed to be an elite organization and world series contender every year, the losses get frustrating
like @Bluezoo said, it took zack and kersh to stop the bleeding
and we should all still be (at least a little bit) concerned about who bridges the gap between anderson/latos/wood and kenley
but i think @LASports96 summed it up perfectly... just keep winning series
