A surprise post to say the least.

The big question, do you think there is there a connection between Shaw's lair visit and his disappearance from DSP? Did you kidnap him and send him to work on Rube's commune farm?

i didn't know him either other than posting here
he just reached out that he was in Cali for a wedding i think and i said he should check out a Dodger game since he had never been to one and was so close
pretty sure he rented a car and came down w his buddy and i put them up at the now defunct lair location
i picked up some decent tickets cheap on seatgeek and darth met us at the game
i'll let darth elaborate on that part if he wants to since he tends to be a bit more understated than i am lol
i thought the drive down was fine but knowing he is a smart kid and from a different background tried to find some kind of connection while we drove
i genuinely enjoy discussing pretty much anything but there were a lot of giggles and at some point i had a feeling of being observed more than an actual boys sharing an experience at the ball game
oh well, he's young and maybe a little nervous so i won't look for anything more and hey we're here lets check out DS
not much to say about the game itself except that there wasn't much in the way of conversation other than some drunk latinas in front of us fucking w him and his friend, again thats darth's part of the story
drive back was me listening to my music mostly and dropping them off at the lair and heading home
they were leaving early the next day and i believe i met them there to see them off and bridge the gap w the thai women coming in for work
i didn't really think about it but after a few minutes i realized they didn't catch up w me for the cost of the tickets which i think were $25 a piece maybe
sent him a text and his response was "hey thanks i will catch up w you next time"...
uh no, my paypal is x and the amount is x
nbd and i don't hold any ill will about the situation but i will admit being surprised by the response but we all make mistakes and he did send me the money
its not the most flattering picture or character reference but thats the story and i hope its not the reason he doesn't post here anymore because he is appreciated and funny
it doesn't affect my world and if it was embarrassing for him thats ok he's a lawyer and he'll get over it
but if he's thinking i'm going to ride him about it that's not going to happen either

I charge 100 a month for a homeless person to come work in the farm.
For 100 bucks a month they can work and have as much stinging nettle, milk thistle, chickweed, mallow, dandelion soup they can forage and eat.

Glad to hear you guys caught a game. TBH, Shaw's postings have been minimal for years now, so hard to say if he feels uncomfortable now or its just the natural progression of his involvement here.

I have to pay to work on your farm? But I guess it's worth it for dandelion soup...

you know something mouse and i agree on almost nothing other than a love for the Doyers
but even though it was a brief conversation we talked about a lot of stuff and it was a pretty wide set of subjects iirc
some personal things and some stupid things but in the end my impression is he's just another guy in this world
not sure if he felt the same but my impression is the mouse makes a pretty good friend

The only thing that was uncomfortable was how jealous Irish was that I got a private tour of the lair.

Specially when I had already started grooming Blue before Devil moved in and began throwing his charms around.

Most of my issue with it probably stems from the area where I am from. People don't tend to use it positively down here.

I know what you mean with the negative/positive comparison, definitely.
But there is nothing really positive about it's use, ultimately, at any time.

Lol no grudge at all tbh. I was 15 and sayin shit. Obviously, nothing has changed
I just remembered it because I thought it was funny. Nothing against SDF tbh. I have a somewhat decent memory and recalled SDF called me out and it was our lone interaction so thought I'd share lol
We good fam. Wasnt posting it as a slight
Same nor did I have any hard feelings at the time. As mentioned earlier, I just have a good memory and thought it was funny. Plus I guess what I remembered most was that you [presumably a white man] were offended by the use of the word in that context. If anything im glad you dont condone it lol
Agreed 100%. Im a major proponent of reclaiming the word
Similar to the way the LGBTQ+ reclaimed the word queer

I, as most people. use the word as a form of endearment. I think the -er ending should be differentiated from the -a ending. Two different words in my opinion. But as long as people still associate nigga with the same connotation as nigger then it will always be highly contentious.

Nowadays with rap music/hip hop/urbanism the word nigga is less about race but more about culture.

I understand being sensitive to the origins of the word and fully understand where the other side is coming from. If someone expresses they're uncomfortable with my use of the word (it has happened a few times in real life) I do my best to apologize and refrain from using the word around them. I don't mean to be insensitive when using the word. I just feel that its more apart of me/my culture than people think.

But also there was no grudge bruh. Lol yall got me hot trying to clear my name lmao
