i love that about the stones. with all that money they could go under the knife daily but they don't. they just wear the age they are. something quite graceful and unusual in that. decay is a part of life and no money changes that. good on them.

welllll Keith DOES get blood transfusions every 6-8 weeks...

he was interviewed a while back saying he's done it for years and it just made him feel invigorated after a long tour and he could afford it so why not. Umm OK... why not?

FALSE. in fact brother Ricky just tried to tell me the same thing last weekend. it was made up to make people talk. he said so in his book actually.
he did however snort his late fathers ashes.

but back to the World Cup final... boy was that exciting... 112 minutes of guys running around kicking a ball with absolutely no scoring... yawn...

but that goal by the German, taking a crossing pass off of his chest and then bouncing it to his foot and kicking the goal without the ball ever touching the ground... slick. He deserved that goal

I know Argentina didn't want to lose but in light of such a spectacular play they can't be too pissed off. Hey they played far better than the host Brazilians.

I enjoyed it. Don't normally watch soccer, but I really enjoyed the final. Pure anticipation. I personally hoped they'd go to penalties. Ads some more drama.

And Cap, you should be used to no scoring. You're a Dodger fan.

the fact that you are watching means you will get it eventually. i used to feel the same way but now i watch the whole match and i am exhausted. the sport is insane.

Agreed, I don't usually care for Soccer, but those matches were intense

Yeah it's really exciting. It obviously has its dull moments (what sport doesn't?) but even without a lot of scoring it's so much fun, and so much access nowadays to a variety of leagues. Also you gotta love 45 minutes straight, no bullshit commercials. Seriously the NFL, with other reasons as well, has made me less and less interested cause going through a game has sooo many commercials. I digress though
