so my biggest issue w walking dead is how implausible the story line is. the governor is an idiotic character. maybe two human factions wouldn't get along well but to spend all that time trying to attack each other? stupid. thank god the dumb blonde commits suicide. i hated her. at least she tried. lame. the way the people always talk in these groups with one person holding court as all the others look at each other intensely looking worried/angry/relieved whatever. its not the actors fault cause the writing is putrid. to end the season the governor kills all the people who went with him on his stupid mission? wtf is that? oh so he's insane. as soon as he did that one of his own would have gunned him down. and it just makes zero sense the whole lame scene ending w the blonde suicide. while everyone is standing around her emoting and looking at each other where is the governor? and why would she have been a priority? all they had to do was close the gate and wait for him to show up. they would have had his nice little enclave to themselves and sent for the others. what do they do? they take all the people back to the prison! GAY!
Read the comic book. Other than the Shane/Rick story arc, it trumps it pretty much at every turn. They ruined the Governor.
When he shoots down those people, the other two had clear fucking shots. His back was turned and they coulda ended it right there. Shit just did not make sense.
Yeah, but I think even for AMC, it would be difficult to show rape and stuff like that. Then again, Breaking Bad had that prison scene at the end of last season, and shit was fine and dandy. But sex is thought of differently in TV.
Yeah, that was tough to read through. And equally (but satisfyingly so) when Michone fucked the Governor up. At least get that shit right and make him Hispanic!
Well on the show the Governor actually cared about his daughter so making him Hispanic would be unrealistic.
