Watch when Kemp comes back, and Crawford is "every day" ready...Puig or SVS goes down?
Knowing the Dodgers, it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. Looks like it's way too crowded out there.
God... if one of them could play 3b...how great would that be?

no way... i think DBB will keep his "the best player plays" script... I do expect Ethier to get shipped for a pitcher... but SVS could be a good trading piece as he's "young" and cheap... amazing the Astros took a pass on him when he was taken off the 40 roster...

Sure, makes sense. But it's us.
Y'know..."we have met the enemy and it is us".
If we trade for anyone, it's gotta be for some BP pitching; the pitch count on some of these starters is horrifying. I'm not saying they cant deal with it...NOW...but in August September? It has to take it's toll. We need a solid one or two innings guy, IMO.
IDK why, but Belisario has become almost useless...he is pitching himself into a one batter RP. Like Vinny said last night about Ethier...."what happened to this guy"?

    Not.

your hater fantasy does not equate to reality.

Trout is the real deal. Puig also appears cut from that cloth.

Don't compare either to Uribe's fat ass... them's throwdown words there son

Nothing wrong with a 7 inning 4 hit shutout.

Didn't want to win 1-0 but Greinke wasn't giving it away either. Kudos for a great start.

    IF
absolutely jack shit = weak foul popups
    Then we're 100%

If we're talking balls in plays... well it's a damn good thing the rookies are hitting...

Then please don't listen... I don't expect you to anyways... it has nothing to do with "defending an Angel"

Mike Trout is a huge baseball talent. Period. Rock solid high average hitter with plenty of power.

Just because he plays for the cross town Angel's doesn't make him less of a long term baseball threat.

It just means that insecure homer Dodger fan boys can't admit it because he isn't in their uniform.

    Sack up already.

For fucks sake it isn't as if I'm acknowledging a vaGiant or something.

I think he's in AZ camp trying to get back to his former Puig level.

Thinking of an MVP caliber Kemp and Puig together in the same lineup makes me want to orgasm like a woman.

Then you add in Agon, Crawford, and HanRam.

Yup. His problem is the non epic plays that he makes sound epic, but I do love how he gets excited but not overly (like Collins). He handles big moments well

We keep all five and have the best, well rested, healthy outfield in baseball. DBB really gets to show if he is good at match ups and we get our dicks hard at the pinch hitting possibilities. Cruz will accept a minor league assignment to stay with us and Hairston might also. We have at least two people for every infield position and don't need three catchers.

Yeah man...it could be ridiculous. But then I thought that about this team before Puig(Basically the old Ethier+ Kemp, Agon, Crawford, and HanRam was damn good on paper).

We need to get our hopes down again so we don't get our feelings hurt. ;)

I guess you think I was REALLY meaning that Puig makes Trout looks like Uribe... if you really did, that's all we have to talk about the topic...

Kemp is getting his shoulder and hammy healed/strengthened and his head cleared. Pig is his savior along with Hanley being back. This s becoming so much pressure for Kemp and Dre to produce. For years it was Kemp, Dre or Loney to do the impossible. Loney melted. Now it is oh shit time with Puig and Van Slyke in top of what we thought we had. Add to that the new Uribe and I can only imagine how any runs a combination of Crawford, Kemp, Puig and Hanley could score hitting in front of a combination from Agon, Dre and VanSlyke. Worse nightmare for another manager is to be up by a run in the 8th inning and have our pitcher leading off and have a super stacked next 7 batters to face.
