And marmol did actually look like a major league pitcher that inning.

Marmol throwing strikes to finish it off.
    37-8 over the last 45
20-3 since the break, with series against Tampa, St. Louis and Cincinnati

Yes he did. Still don't want to see him retain a roster spot over Withrow when Wilson joins. Wilson piched another hitless inning today.

If Marmol can keep pitching like he did today, pipe dream, then we should DL league. I doubt it happens, wouldn't be shocked to see Marmol look like shitsicles next outing.

We may just drop a position player and we all know who after tonight's debacle. It's a great problem to have! I know we are focusing on burying the D-bags but we are getting into best NL record territory.

As Clayton Kershaw shines like a beacon of professional baseball greatness, it's really heartwarming to see a game where the team actually backs him up with some legitimate offense.
I really appreciated Orel Hershiser's comments on CK, and the fact that he wouldn't back down from calling him the "best pitcher in the game today" are welcome words indeed. Not "aguably the best LH hander the game"---simply the best. As Orel was probably once himself; what he did will never be equaled. A timeless Dodger, just like Clayton will be....
I feel sorry for Dee....I really do. It seems lke the guy is cursed, and is destined to be a minor league player always. His timing is so bad to be a ss on the LAD at this time. I know it's a business and all that, but I can't help rooting for this kid.
I guess there's no crying in baseball, it's true, but my heart goes out to him...he never stops fucking up. On another day, in another season, his play today could have been disastrous. It's like he's got a cloud over his head.
Anyway, the Blue Streak keeps rolling, and come one, come all. It matters not.
A fine time to be a Dodger fan. Feels good man, deep into the bones. A warm flow. Cooking with honey. Like making a beautiful girl smile at you.
    Fucking awesome....

This team is very good at scoring more runs than the opposing team!

Wish I could like this post a million times.

On another note, seems like we break every team's back that we meet these days. Met's jet is better crashing than facing us at this point.

This is cool as fucking fuck. Honestly awesome win, pitching and hitting clicking at the same time makes it unfair to other teams and I'm just so fucking giddy at thinking about the playoffs, oh man fuck fuck yeah!

Props to the mets for winning, now lets crush them and crush Harvey

When Wilson is ready, just put Withrow or Marmol on the DL so they stay postseason eligable, pretty simple to me

We will need to start to cut back on using a few of our bigguns in the pen. Jansen, Belli, Paco, Howell and maybe the starters going a little less innings, especially Ryu.
Rotate them on the DL or minors. Use the fuck out of Marmol, Wilson, and League. We need depth now, that is all. Winning now will become less critical than a healthy rested pen for the postseason.

How can you ignore League's 8 scoreless innings in his last 9 and give Marmol a pass because he finally had one clean inning since he's arrived? I know you hate League but come on.

I say it's either between League or Marmol. You can always phantom DL one of them and activate the odd man out when the rosters expand in September.
