I dunno man.... Methinks the In N Out 100 X 100 still rules the roost, even at more than twice the price. :)

Mebbe we need the guy in my signature to decide, if he ever decides to come outta the closet and post here again, that is????

Hilarious...I must admit, as an east coast infidel, I have never had the estatic experience of an In-N-Out Burger. Although it's pretty much rave reviews from anyone who has had that good fortune.

Do you have a Five Guys? It's not really the same but I'd put it on the same level of goodness. What makes In N Out better is it's actually fast food and still that good.

nah, not that I know of...used to have Two Guys From Harrison" , but it was a dept. store, like an early K-mart.
NJ has White Castle, which everyone said made them ill, but nevertheless gobbled down like savages, like sharks in a feeding frenzy.
    Odd.

I got to sample In N Out several years back on a 'business' trip. I will say that it was very good, and as you say, a notch above 5 Guys. But...I wouldn't call it fast food because I had to wait forever as the place was jacked up. Five Guys is much faster in my limited experience.

It depends on what In N Out you go to and what time, but typically they are overcrowded. There's one in Barstow, CA where you would be lucky to get your food within an hour. I think they could open another In N Out across the street and they would both have more business than they know what to do with.

    ^This

I generally avoid In N Out at peak hours. Of course I always have the option of tomorrow. As a visitor you gotta take it when you can get it. The Barstow one is a hot spot simply for the travelers passing through and there being literally nothing else worth stopping at in Barstow. Restaurant or otherwise. Unless you're into trains, I think there's some train shit out there.

In in out is one of my favorite run business.
They are anti corporate without the anti part.
Too bad old guy died and future in kids hands ala Lakers.
It takes long because people love it.
    A lot of people.
    Burgers, fries, sodas and shakes.
And the subtle menu for those that want it anyway they want it.
    That's it.
All locally sourced as possible, never compete with the chains nor price out momnpop burger slingers.
Clean simple decor but quality materials.
    Great hiring and quality employment.
Let anticipation build, makes customers demand more in n outs be built.
Food quality consistent pretty much every experience, they rarely not do your food perfectly.

The secret is that it's not fast food but they run in that same league but they operate at a much higher level.

Still I'm not endorsing you eat there.
You know what's in ground beef nowadays, even best ones.
Cows were not designed to eat corn.
    Anyhoo

Eh and the corn oil for fries is now all gmo.
Mutated to Jack up your box.
    Hence why cornsyrupe everywhere.
They really trying to put Jack in the box.
Tainted meat the standard, mutated corn products, pesticided transveggies, glue filled frankinwheat, and milks and cheeses full of ped and bloody puss piss and poop.

Torrance. That's a busy one. They just opened up another one in that area. Torrance Crossroads, right? Big shopping center with a Home Depot? I just moved away from there 3 weeks ago but that was my regular In N Out for years.

There's a bunch of Five Guys in Dirty Jersey. You should track one down. It's worth it.

Nothing will ever compare to In N Out, it's simply hands down the best burger joint in America.
