May have been. I vaguely remember hearing them say something about being back tomorrow for KDOC but there was certainly more interviews after that. They're still going.

Congratulations to all you Dodger donkey dicks!
We are there....once again...and may we forever break the mantle of "bridesmaids" once and for all.
The MVP chant was something special...and Giant or not, Dave Righetti's tip of the cap, whoever it was to, was classy. I didn't see anyone else there joining in, but good for him; maybe it was to DBB, or maybe CK...and Vinny was so right when he said "how good can this guy be"?
Jansen should be well rested by the time the Cards come around, and last night's comments, through bleary eyes in the wee hours of the morning here, by the hated ESPN Harold Reynolds were well taken: " This is not the same Dodger team that played in last year's post...Kemp didn't get one bat in them last year...this year he's rockin'...it's a different team. LA is rocking...and Annaheim is not LA. No matter what they say. It's far away, down the freeway. The Dodgers are LA alone". You guys should love that.
I'm picking Superginger Justin Turner as the secret weapon this post.
    yeah baby.

Orel is the real deal...always was, and he transcends cold BB analysis, IMO. We are lucky to still have him...his commentary is invaluable if you love the game of BB.

Umps hate him; it's part of his problem. It happens often.

My friend (a gnats fan) texted me "the Dodgers are a much better team".

I said: "The Giants have heart, fight, guts and gay tendencies."

I never heard back from him. But I know he chuckled.

The Anaheim/LA thing is whatever. 49ers don't play in SF. Cowboys don't play in Dallas, Giants and Jets don't play in NY.

There's no more than 30 miles separating Dodger and Angel Stadium. They play in Anaheim...not San Juan Capistrano. I don't really care about them being the AL representative of the Los Angeles market. It's an accepted practice everywhere else.

It's the way they did it that was annoying.

It is a cultural thing more than anything else. People in Orange County take pride in retaining their own identity. As do people in LA. So once the Angels took the Anaheim name, you just can't go back. It makes the change so blatant. If they kept the LA name from the beginning it would probably be different. Without traffic, Anaheim is what...A half hour tops down the freeway? Anaheim is greater Los Angeles. Proximity wise it makes sense. Our local culture and the timing of the name change made it a flop.

So while i do think the name change was pathetic, I still understand the logic of it and I won't pretend like it isn't common practice.

yeah. Still have long shot at #1, Washington has 6 games to play in the next 4 days including today. But that is far fetched.

I missed the game time thread posts but wow... Clayton Kershaw remains the stud the other pitchers are measured against.

Driving in his own damn RBI to tie it up!!

Well I had hope that the Bucs would win catch the Cardinals for the NL Central BUT they get the fucking D-Backs!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best case scenario would have been that they would play a tie breaker game and use up Waino and Cole. Even if the Cards would have won it would get Waino out. We are going to have our hands full against those Cards. They always seem to beat us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
