I want to clinch before the Giants series. I feel with their injuries, Bochy would rest Posey a game at least against us and any sort of added help to get home field is welcomed. Though I think they already have thrown in the towel with their injuries piling up.
I only hope so.. damned vaGiants are 8 games back with 10 to play... I wish I felt safe.. but I don't. This could be a good weekend.
Wood has also not fared well at all at Coors. Soft tossers that rely heavily on off speed movement don't have the best outcomes here. I expect 3 high scoring games as the humidor is probably not going to be much of a savior. It hasn't rained here I think since July and it is dry as all hell. My koi pond is losing close to 3/4's an inch of water a day which is well above the usual 1/8-1/4 for the hottest part of the year. What that means is the ball is probably going to fly this weekend.
