    We had 3 aces, Brian Wilson was a legit set up guy, and Hanley and Puig looked like they could hit prime Pedro Martinez if they wanted to. Uribe's home run. God dammit. That team was so much fun. A fun bench, every day something fun as hell was happening

    Defense doesn't get the chicks, that team was fun to watch... At the plate. But yeah, our main shortcoming was what cost us.

    I'd love for him to, but I think his power potential is somewhere around 20 mark. I'd love to see a big RH bopper in that lineup in LF. Joc, Seager, AGon and Grandal have that pop from the LH side. Getting another RH could potentially be lethal.

    That 2013 season still breaks my heart. They had a stretch where they were sweeping teams left and right and barely dropping games. Came from way under 500 to one of the best records in the league and won the NLDS in epic fashion. Fucking Joe Kelley's bitch ass hitting Hanley in the ribs....will never forgive him. We've certainly come a long ways since the Mccunt ages when teams like the Rockies and Padres were beating us out for playoff spots, but it stings so much to see the less talented Giants rack off numerous titles while we experience heartbreak season after season. When will it be our turn?

    I just don't trust Puig vs the top pitchers. I can see him having good regular seasons again, but I don't trust him to do anything in the biggest moments vs the best pitchers.

    This is the hardest part to accept. Year after year I can see the flaws in our team and what we need to be better - but meanwhile the teams rolling through the playoffs, especially in the NL, seem to have just as many flaws and weaknesses. I don't think we deserve a championship, but also don't think we're less deserving than others who are winning.
