    • The Romo deal perhaps isn’t quite done, per Jon Heyman of Fan Rag, who reports that another club is “still involved in the bidding.” Given that Romo is set to pitch in the Caribbean Series, notes Heyman, finalization of a contract may not be forthcoming for a few days. A native of Southern California, it seems that Romo is still likely to land with the Dodgers, but Heyman suggests that the mystery bidder has upped its offer.

    Good guess.
    They need a legitimate late inning option and Romo's obviously one w/a lot of post experience.
    LAD and SFG pretty much sonned the Nats concerning Kenley/Melancon.
    Still would be sorta shocked if Romo didn't end up with LAD at this point, him being a big LAD fan growing up and all..maybe he's always wanted to end his career w/LAD?

    Yeah...it sounds like it means something, ( well, I guess it does actually), but I can't figure out what though.
    Sometimes, due to age, geographical location, and chronic unhipness, I just assume when reading a word or phrase I don't get, it just that because of factors, well...I just don't get it.
    I was thinking, if you can't stand someone, you might say " he is a product of whore eggs"...but that would be demeaning the mother actually, right?
    But it is an insult that has infinite gravitas, in a way. Like if you say, " I'll hit you so hard your relatives will feel it".
    Or the ultimate from Pryor when describing a smoking hot woman. He was asked " how fine was she"?
    And he answered, "How fine was she? She was so fine, I'd suck her daddy's dick"...
    Idk...

    My feelings exactly. This board will also be a lot fun to be around when he blows his first game. The truth is he has had one bad year in his career, but the peripherals from last year are worrisome going into this season. The bright side is a lot of the damage against him happened in a 4 game stretch where he gave up 5 of his 9 runs for the season. The Dodgers bullpen should be a much better situation and he should never ever face a LH unless it is a blowout.

    The puto instead of puta means whore balls , not whore eggs possibly?
