still say the best tacos i've EVER eaten are on the corner of the zona rio in TJ directly south of adelitas and hong kong btw my favorite of all of those was the power rangers and the little girl because it just put everything else in perspective
best tacos for me were a tie One spot inland in TJ that has a minizoo with monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. Like the line or hallway to where you order your tacos is not lined by walls but by cages of animals. Mostly birds and small animals but a few mid sized wild beasts too. The tacos were your standard style TJ taco, but with way more ingredients and 'toppings' to choose from. They had great fruit juices too. Juiced on the spot. Place was full of fruit as well as animals. It was set up like a bootleg outdoor mini Rainforest Cafe on the side of the road. But a real one not like the kind at the mall. And the other best tacos were this one dude around the hotel strip near the TJ airport. This one is truly the absolute best in terms of pure flavor without a lot of ingredients. He had a small semi circle of grills around him and his prep table behind. The dude would have all kinds of stuff cooking and prepping at the same time. It was a joy to watch him work. I dont know where he got his little tortillas but they were better than all the other taco places. He was doing something similar to what Korean BBQ does. Which is to thinly slice well marbled frozen meat to grill fry or roast. Or better yet the guy would make milanesa tacos. That was the absolute best pure taco flavor. It is a thin piece of steak that has been breaded and battered and deep fried. Then some guac and salsa and you have the best flavorful taco ever. Those thin slices of grilled meat, some oaxaca cheese, and a big glop of guacamole and a little salsa was so good. He would fry an egg into that too. Or better yet he would make a super good chile relleno that was not greasy nor clumpy. It was filled with panela cheese and dipped into egg batter and then deep fried before putting it into a tortilla with some guac and slices of that grilled perfectly flavored meat that easily tore up in your mouth. That is some good stuff.
i've had some epic tj tacos as well used to travel with a baja native so he knew which places were okay/best to eat
Anthony Joshua vs Vlad was the best heavyweight boxing fight for over a decade. What a fucking occasion and war. Klitschko fucking had him in round five, old dog let him off the hook. Both men knocked down. Was amazing. The heavyweight division is finally stacked again. Shame only one American is in the elite group, not getting much publicity.
was a great fight best i've ever seen klitschko look his footwork was really good agreed, he could/should have finished him on the 6th well worthy of a rematch don't think either of them gets past wilder though
I said the same. Wilder ringside must be rubbing his hands together, Vlad is 41 and might retire, and the great English hope Joshua has been hit with two proper punches in his career, and went down both times. Huey Fury dropped his nuts against Joseph Parker (failed another drug test I bet) and Joe has to take on some bum. Hoping like hell Parker can get a shot at Joshua instead of a unification bout against Wilder. IMO Wilder is now the one to beat.
I think we tried one of everything that night, or I did at least. That porkchop was the weakest link.
this chick comes in today all panicked because her "check engine" light is on can't really blame her since she knew zero about about cars but it got me thinking i know a little (not a lot) about cars my "check engine" light went on at about 90,000 miles i had my mechanic friend look at it and said there was nothing major and tuned it up the light is still on, i've had to do nothing except routine maintenance, and i'm now over 200,000 miles
