I'm not sure what to make of Ryu... was his last outing just a product of Coors Field? Whatever the reason, I hope they have a short leash and someone ready to get up in the pen early if needed (I don't care if it's the 1st inning). We can't give games away in this series.
Roberts doesn't do "short leash". He's known for pushing his pitchers deep into games, especially when there's a no hitter on the line.
4 game series against the team with the worst record [14-25] in baseball and yet i still don't feel all that confident maybe it's because ryu is a 10-0 defeat waiting to happen or that urias will probably throw 100 pitches before getting to the 5th or the fear that mehcarthy is coming back to earth or that we've gone 4-6 against [the team with the previously worst record in baseball] giants and if wood has a bad outing... just saying

The fish are horrible right now but they still have Ozuna, Stanton, Yelich, Dee and Bour so it should be a high scoring series. It's their pitching that we have to exploit!!

Last two years .262/.305/.326/72 OPS+ and a combined .7 WAR... Our backup second baseman(Chris Taylor) has a 1.1 WAR this year already. Dee has been garbage. That first year after the trade blew ass, but I am still glad they did it. I honestly wonder if the new FO knew something and that's what they were worried about.
