We have good players, they have good players but their lineup is complete and ours has holes.
    Specially with the DH.

Their manager wasn't better. Their players moved over and scored RISP in game 7, ours didn't. That is why we lost, because the players failed

We win game 2 it doesn’t matter. This series probably doesn’t even go back to LA. Houston is good and I won’t take anything away from them but regardless of talent and managerial decisions it came down to Kenley hanging that cutter/slider on an 0-2 count. Plain and simple. I will think that until the day I no longer walk this earth.

Since they'd rather do a deal the sends all the $$$$ out, that seriously limits their suitors. Someone's going to have to change their expectations.

Sending all the money limits their suitors to no one

They won't get hugely expensive for another 4-5 years so your comparison doesn't really come into play until then.

Gonzalez, Ethier, Crawford, Kemp, All the Cuban $$$$$ is WAYYY > than the incremental raises those guys will be getting. The only thing that changes that scenario is if they decide to do Trout-sized lock up deals with any of them, but they're not required to. Maybe one or two of them would take team friendly extensions and continue to perform at ridiculously high levels, who knows?

    can't agree
adding a dh only lengthens our lineup
if anything, they had a disadvantage with their pitchers have to hit 4/7 games

roberts killed all the momentum by leaving darvish in way too long
which is made even more puzzling by his quick hooks of hill in game 2
they were down 2-0 before they even got to the dugout, 5-0 the next time
will agree that the offense didn't come through
but it seemed like guys were trying to hit 5-run hr's instead of just getting hits/runs and pecking away -- which is the byproduct of being put in an early hole
good managers put you in a position to succeed
roberts put them in a position to fail
and bringing morrow in after the carnage to face one hitter was asinine

    totally agree
roberts pulled hill too early (60 pitches iirc) in a 1-0 game
collateral effect; the bullpen had to play catch up from that point forward

    Our superstars failed us.

Kershaw, Yu, Kenley, Turner, Bellinger and Seager.

All guys who were rock stars during the season and we couldn’t get it done.

I don't know what it is about 0-2 counts that make LAD relievers wanna lob hanging sliders and let everybody down.
    Kenley pulled a Blanton.
    Fuck Kenley for that.

Yeah, another new position in the game. He will be based out of Camelback, so I guess he won't be around for the day to day stuff, but maybe looking for new ideas on how to keep guys healthy?

Morosi just said that his inclination is that Otani will come to the US and he will sign with the Dodgers... lets hope he’s right for once.
