I misread it initially and thought we got Soria too. I still like it.

I just assumed you were happy for the White Sox.

having a ground ball pitcher is pretty uncharacteristic for this front office but I'm happy cause it gets annoying to have to rely on the K with the risk of the home run. I liked Avilan though, but Alexander will probably be better next year.

I predict Alexander will be cussed out no less than twenty times on games threads.

That's a safe prediction for any of our players.

Puig for JBJ? Gotdamn, LAD still can't get a solid return for this dude
If Puig were the prize on Price is Right, I wouldn't be able to guess his price with an infinite amount of tries
Can't wait to see what his market looks like when he makes it to free agency
And Verdugo better get his ass in gear, LAD is out there targeting CFs

Someone I completely forgot about when it comes to LH relievers is Edward Paredes who showed himself to be at least a serviceable #3 LH reliever (#4 if Liberatore is healthy), who doesn't have to be in the bigs.

If the Sox still had Tito at manager, maybe it does. Maybe Dombrowski would value Puig a bit more if they had a proven manager that's dealt with his share of show ponies?
Cora being a novice and the Sox having leadership issues internally last year among their players probably makes for a bad situation.
Especially with buddy Hanley already there underachieving and giving no fucks

I think Cherington’s final disaster year (with maybe the most toxic clubhouse in recent memory) is still way too fresh in their minds as well. Not surprised they’re extremely averse to problem children.

Also, I’m fairly certain Puig would crumble in Boston.
