The Dodgers actually offered him the job before hiring Joe Davis

Remember when we were mad in the 2nd inning. Remember when a lot of y’all were scared of this Padres team thinking they were maybe even better. They’re losers man. We destroyed them, only Jansen gave them a chance. A dismantling from top to bottom reminding the Padres they gotta long ways to go

Well, that just happened. I was expecting more of a fight, but they just didn’t have the arms to compete. See ya next year, Padres, enjoy your extra vacation.

I’m going to say Bellinger wins the poll if for no other reason than the catch.

They didn’t have a flashy hit or flashy play but Mookie/Seager felt so dependable all damn series just felt like they constantly had good at bats.
Gotta keep it going and if next series we get a breakout from Taylor/Pollock/Joc?...

Seager hit .364, but he could've legit hit about .750. That's how good he was hitting the ball and locked in. Will Smith too.

Impressive display of solid contact last night up and down the lineup. Going to need more of that to match up with Atlanta.

One-Eyed Julio saved the day at a point when San Diego could have taken control of the game. He was in complete control of a potent lineup. Not sure why the brain trust of the Dodgers felt the need to get cute with the pitching. Just another case of overthinking things in today's game. Send your best available starter out there (Gonsolin) and let him go as long as he can. Fuck that cutesy shit.

Sounds funny but Kolarek deserved better last night. 3-1 to Cronenworth was a strike and the Castro ground ball should have been a two ball. Very poor awareness by Smith. Looked like he had no idea the catcher was running down the line. Five hits absolves him of his sins, though.

Look on the bright side for the Pads. They have a couple of extra weeks to work on their dance moves and bat tosses. But seriously folks, these fuckers are going to be a royal pain the ass for years.

I can’t wait for Hosmer to have a .710 OPS next year
