    That was great.
    Enrique is the real deal. Going to be sad day if we lose him in the offseason.

    If you think about it, for every place outside of Los Angeles, the story of the Dodgers winning the WS is pretty boring. They've been good for a long time now. Best team on paper going into the season. Best team during the season. Best team in the playoffs. It's not a Cinderella story at all. But a Covid fiasco? That's a story.

    Honestly, I'm kinda upset at Turner for the little celebrating that he did do. He should have stayed back, kept his mask on the entire time, snuck into the side for one team photo, and been done. I get that it sucks huge, but this is a story that could have been avoided.

    Agree. This is on Turner, not the Dodgers.

    I'd be surprised if Kiké comes back, there's just too much money he can make. We aren't going to give him a $30 million contract to be a utility player, but someone might give him that to be a starter.

    Something doesn't add up. After the team photo, he was kissing his wife sans mask with the trophy (two trophies in that shot ;)). So either he and she don't believe in the test results, or neither of them think it's any risk if she comes down with it, or they're just really irresponsible. Wait, I just thought of another possibility... maybe they know that she had it first and that's how he got it. Any how, the media can do whatever they want with the story... doesn't take away any of the glory as far as I'm concerned.

    I don't really post much but I'm one of the best lurkers. You really don't know me but I feel I know all you on some small level. I really wanted to say congratulations to the Dodgers and all of us here. I was 20 years old in 1988 which puts me on the wrong side of 50 now. After 1988, never in my life did I think it would take over 30 years to win another one. Cherish this now and forever.

    I assume he will be retested to confirm, but yeah, JT was making me nervous. Now the issue is whether anyone else on the Dodgers get COVID. Then there might be a lengthy suspension for JT.

    Now with a championship, I hope Claytons next few years are a bounce back to form. He’s got his ring, now he doesn’t have to beat himself up during the playoffs

    If he tested positive last night, he had been likely spreading the virus for up to 48 hours prior. Kind of a whoever he was around the last two days was fucked. That means if he is truly positive, the team is gonna be in big trouble in the next 2 weeks.

    OK I laughed

    @GabeTheWP
    The guy with covid stayed in the game longer than the guy throwing a shutout?

    The reports are that MLB officials asked him to leave the field during the celebration and he refused. Not a good look for Turner at all.

    Probably inappropriate to think about right now, but I wonder if this affects his chances of re-signing with the team.

    Incubation period is up two weeks where you do not show as positive, but could still have it developing in your system.

    Wow, that is a really bad look. If there is a spread of the virus and it is immediately attributed to his actions last night, yeah he may not be back.

    I don’t think it would have been fair to force JT off the field during the celebrations. This may be his one and only chance to do so. He should have had his mask on throughout though, that’s my only beef. And if he was kissing his wife, that wasn’t a smart move.
