    I said that too.
But a childhood friend from Washington was flying in.
And it had been 15 years since he saw a game.
His love for the dodgers is deep and is making these pansy ass dodger fans remember that it's ok to chant giants suck at the top of your lungs.

Thanks for stepping up Julio. Could have cut off any momentum the Giants had from Friday night, but no........you had to throw batting practice.

Now they have to contend with the Giants' best arm just to salvage a split. Whoda thunk it after last weekend?

    No mas Vesia, por favor.

Reinforcements came, after a long frustrating period of waiting and uncertainty, and was as anti- climatic as possible.
As soon as the lineup got to be as up to snuff offensively in weeks, the pitching is absolutely horrendous.
Hopefully it is a momentary glitch, because if the Giants are as good as they looked, along with the seldom losing Padres, we are in trouble.
Julio was as bad as I've ever seen him.
Hit after hit after hit is unwatchable.

couldn't say it any better huh?
Julio is going to be nails when it counts and getting Bellinger and McKinstry back is good stuff
even if its just to be rid of noisy and peters
still wish we had continued to pound these pretenders into submission
    annoying little cocksucking nobodies

Agree on Julio. Yesterday was a blip on his radar. But he picked a helleva time to take a dump.

Yeah, sure...I get the rah rah, sis boom bah stuff...
But when you make no adjustments at all when you're being whipped at the plate relentlessly like a red headed stepchild, no matter what Julio did in the past, he looks like a duflus out there, imo. Betts was iconic and amazing last year, but now he is struggling to reach mediocrity. As an example.
They can never take the past away from Julio and his gritty performances. No one can. But today, when you're giving up merry go round hitting to the " "pretenders", then a little synapse in the brain should take place.
    That's just my take...
Thing is, we said much the same thing about the SFags ad infinitum in the past, and they went on to win three world championships. I've read how lucky they were and how everyone rolled over for them, but they've still tripled our trophy count, like it or not. Just as long as we don't roll over...that's the thing.
Wasn't it the great Ned Colletti, who said on the pre game the other day that these 4 games against them ( SF) is a very good challenge for the team ? I agreed. And we're not exactly aceing it.
If the faggot Giants are pretenders, then good. And if SD is an aberration, then double good. Lord, make it so.
I don't get nor do I agree with the " it's only May" bullshit, never have.
Today, in my mind, will be a test of Dodger mettle.
    Even in meaningless May.
    We'll see.

i get the frustration and games like yesterday definitely piss me off
a pitcher is going to get bombed now and then and for it to happen against the duggars and wade jrs of the world is worse
have no idea what those bitches do w guys like that but they're also doing it to the league somehow
but a game like yesterday gives them the feeling they're for real and i just don't see that happening
win today and we split and we were one remarkable catch away from a series win
more than Julio i don't like seeing guys swing and miss at mid to low 90s fastballs right over the plate
a better manager has his team more prepared imo
i know it sounds like a broken record but if a team is underperforming it starts w him
dude always looks bewildered to me

Maybe the most frustrating weekend of the season so far.

A combination of 3 teams we hate fucking us over.

The cheating bastards in Houston blowing late leads twice and losing both games in extras vs SD led by horrible managing and boneheaded plays while we get robbed of a walk off vs the Giants and then get demolished the next day.

    So fucking maddening.

Tatis Jr. is a HUGE problem and winning this division over SD is going to be extremely hard

Early on he was being hit hard even on outs and foul balls.

    @THEREAL_DV
Mookie Betts is a late scratch due to an allergic reaction. #Dodgers

    Allergic to hitting?
