    I'm thinking his shoulder isn't quite right or that injury is still messing with his mind. When he connects (which is rare), he doesn't have the pop he had in the past.

    it truly is incredible how bad Cody is...a young, MVP calibre power guy to just not be anywhere near even mediocrity.
    Damn, you'd think his sheer athleticism and youth would simply just be enough to achieving at least being serviceable offensively, but he's miles away from that. Maybe that violent swing and approach AB needs to be totally reworked, I don't know. I don't see that happening, though.
    I guess his superlative D will have to suffice, but it seems so difficult to not to expect anything from him at the plate at this stage of his career.
