Still sitting here wondering if this is a tease or is this trade really happening. But I also can't help but wonder, assuming it does finalize and then Mookie and Seager return, will Davey THEN see that Bellinger doesn't belong anywhere above 7 or 8 n the lineup?

    1. Mookie (RF)
    2. Trea (2B)
    3. JT (3B)
    4. Max (1B)
    5. Seager (SS)
    6. Smith (C)
    7. CT3 (LF)
    8. Bellinger (CF)
    9. pitcher

Bench: Pollock, Lux, Beaty, Pujols, Barnes

And I read that the Dodgers plan to play Trea in center, but I don't see how that keeps Muncy in the lineup unless Bellinger sits or plays LF.

in all seriousness, aj should be in there over cody
then again, corey will probably go back on the il with a paper cut so it won’t be an issue

Cody may be sent down to the minors to get his swing straightened out given the potential lineup now. Puljos is like the PH now in AL parks.

The biggest coup is Scherzer. We desperately needed a SP given the injuries and shakiness. The icing on the cake would have been a closer, but you can’t get everything you want.

    Two...count ' em...TWO Mad Max' now.
    TWO Turners.
A fine double duo of talent, indeed. A ++++ quartet.
Unfortunately, probably negated by ONE Dave Roberts...
    The power of one.
We got these guys we thought slipped through our fingers...now all we have to do is score runs and win a lot.

Odd that no one at all has mentioned Duffy, who obviously must be someone they wanted, for whatever reason. I would feel better about it if Honeycutt was still the CPO on the pitching side, but whatever.
They must see something in him other than the comparative bargain, considering the cost of Max/Trea.
Btw, it just came over that that this particular deal is NOT finalized, and the Padres are standing by to pounce.
They also said ( Heyman) that since Max OKd the deal to the Pads, he is not feeling the Dodgers as strongly as the Padres.
Interesting...and concerning. On more than a few levels. Even if It's a pactum factum.

A lot of reporters are saying the #Dodgers don't appear to be done making moves.
The name repeatedly being brought up?... Craig Kimbrel

Dodgers are among teams eyeing Craig Kimbrel. Not sure what their payroll could
be but if they land him but their team is heading toward unstoppable.

    Whoa...IDK about this

    @MLBBruceLevine
Dodgers and Cubs discussing Kimbrel. Top young Dodger pitching prospects being discussed. Pepiot and Miller two RHP of interest.

Just glad the Padres/Giants didn't get him

    @Michael_Cerami

SOURCE: I'm hearing Craig Kimbrel has been traded to the Chicago White Sox.

You better beat the White Sox in the first 7 innings....what a deadly combo.

A bullpen so good that not even Dave could fuck it up.........

Gallo and Rizzo to the New York. The Five Families should approve.

The White Sox paid a massive price for Craig Kimbrel: second baseman Nick Madrigal and reliever Codi Heuer, sources tell ESPN.

When I said at the top of the show that Cubs had the chance to remake themselves for the next five years in the next two hours, this is what I meant.

Toronto arguably paid more for Berrios than we did for Max/Trea and I thank them. Berrios was linked with the Madres
