Okay folks. Nothing to see here. Move on. Move on.

What, no one has seen a prison rape scene in Northern California?

Aside from home field advantage, it's one more game than we would have had to play if we won the division. Cold, hard numbers...
    Or...
Is that the understatement of the year ?

Wish we were playing the Brewers Wednesday....fraudulent team. I bet the Braves beat them.

Our post season history with the Cards is not that good, but the Dodgers seem to be hitting on all cylinders right now, so bring it on.

The Dodgers right now will beat the Gnats too 9 out of 10 times.

I sure hope Mookie, who took quite a nap offensively against the Brewers, wakes up for Wednesday night.
    Screaming, like from a nightmare...

i'm going to mix it up and grab that jumbo jack tomorrow
think Beatty should get the start at first if Max can't go but i'm sure it'll be Tio against his old team

In retrospect, Dodgers probably lost this in the head to head series with SF.

The Tauchman out of body robbery against Tio and the botched check swing call on Ruf might have been the difference.

yeah i'm sure there's a few we had no business winning that were gifted to us as well
one thing i find frustrating is continually running Belli out there instead of letting him work on the swing in the minors
i remember weeks i must have seen him leave 25 risp
and of course a lack of moving runners or willingness to play any kind of small ball ever is super frustrating
    that definitely cost us games

Losing 3/4 to the Marlins and 2/3 at home to the Rockies really hurts now but hard to complain that much when a team won 106 games.

I sign up for 106 wins without hesitation if asked in April.

especially going most of the season without May, Bauer, and Kershaw
as well as Bellinger looking like a cold turd all year

The Seager injury was significant in length too.

And given all ABs that the Neuse-types got this year, I'd say the Rios injury factored in as well.

Yes, there's some randomness there, and like diablo said, I'm sure we benefited from some luck in a few wins too.

What wasn't random was Roberts' insistence on sticking with Bellinger when clearly he didn't have it this year. Some of those starts definitely created L's. Also, I'm glad that Kenley has turned things around. But what's wrong with going with the hot hand? When Jansen was going through his slump, why not let Trienen close and have Kenley pitch lower-leverage innings until he gets back in his groove? Roberts values guys based on past results or size of salary too much - he doesn't want to upset his stars - and this year it cost us the division.

everything was a factor including those decisions
but no way the gnats come out of nowhere w that team and post that record
even w all that happened to the Dodgers those fuckers are cheating 100%
