I've had a busy few days, so I didn't follow the team much, which in hindsight was a good thing. Just wondering, is the manager doing anything to try to change the outcome or is he playing deer in the headlights? I get it's the players who slump, but at some point their leader has to take the blame. Just ask Joe Maddon.

Well that 3 miserable games that I went to

its not happening when we still have the 2nd best record in the NL. Doc can’t make the hitters stop sucking. Dodgers have been carried by the top 3 all season and none of them are hitting now and this is the result. 4-9 besides Lux and Smith isn’t providing much

    Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I know he's not getting fired right now.

Yet one can't ignore the facts. This is his seventh season, and it could be argued that he's had seven stacked rosters.

    And just one championship.

    In a 60-game season.

The top three aren't hitting. Or Muncy is injured. Or Scherzer has a dead arm. Or Kenley is blowing saves. Or Seager is slumping. Or Kershaw is falling apart in the playoffs. Or the ump blew the call on a Giants check swing. Or the Asterisks are banging on garbage cans.

Or maybe, just maybe, the manager is simply not the right person for the job.

I guess only in Robert's case, it's not his fault that the players don't hit...not with any other organisations like one's Maddon and Girardi worked for it isn't.
Mantra....it's the same weak sauce people who like a failing manager have used throughout baseball history, yet the manger goes time after time, year after year. You could look it up.
    I wonder why ?
Dave is a fail, and if winning it all is the criteria, he's proven it over and over. Overconfidence is counterproductive...and he illustrates it every day.
The smiling dolt, his glad handing, woke, uncreative, and worst of all, obstinate inflexibility, interprets to another team winning it all in the end. Way too much.
Talent gives you a shot, and we've had the top or near it, for years now. There seems no gritty determination by.him or the team, and that comes from the top down, always- and they've gotten away from tne plate discipline that got them where they are...or was. So if the manger is too busy waving at friends, and the coaches don't see it, or won't do anything about it, then just maybe a change is needed.
Now, when much of it is faltering, his job is to manipulate a crumbling offense and get the most out of it, not the least possible. Injuries hurt, too. But name team who doesn't deal with that every day. Ours are no worse.
Sure, maybe he can turn it around...maybe it's just a glitch...we'll see.

Giants had 10 hits the last two days. Nice to see a glimpse of old Julio.

This failure landed in the lap of a bunch of limp dicked brain dead hitters.
