    That's a full 33 percent right there.
That's enough to make even a third of the heveanly angels fall.

Once you cleaned your room and you run out of meth watch this video.

Back in another life before DSP I spent a few years selling. So like you I was interested in these type of self help books. Except they always felt sleazy or forced or outright made up personas designed to sell books about teaching you how to sell books about how to sell books about selling books about sales.

Eli Goldratt breaks it down like a video game while in a novel form that he publishes and after films as a movie.
All without having to check into rehab after yelling at you for not having your shit together.

    I haven't read a book in like 7 years.
    I find it difficult now.
    I used to devour books.
    Now it's a chore.
    Wonder if I need glasses.
Point being that I went looking for my copy of ITS NOT LUCK and started reading it again.
It's been over 20 years since I first read it.
Probably like 10 years since I last looked through it.
But that used to be a passtime of mine.
Think that's why I resisted the smart phones as long as I could.
So thanks for posting about your reading list. It's oddly motivated me because I pulled out that book and it's already doing its work.

this guy is living somewhere in your house i just know it

Love and hate, get it wrong
She cut me right back down to size
Sleep the day, let it fade
Who was there to take your place
    No one knows, never will
    Mostly me, but mostly you
What do you say, do you do
    When it all comes down

There is no blame only shame
When you beg you just complain
The more I come more I try
    All police are paranoid
So am I, so's the future
So are you, be a creature
What do you say do you do when it all comes down

    That's right in the nostalgia.
    I was in college.
    Drinking and never sleeping.
Spending every other weekend in tj dancing with hookers or west hollywood picking up drunk lesbians or exploring the wild lands of the inland empire drunk as a skunk wearing sunglasses on a moonless night racing cops on dark dirt roads with the headlights off and lots of places to hide. Yeehaw!!!

I wonder if I could still hit those high notes in the chorus.
Good part of living up here.
Nobody can hear you scream at the top of your one decent lung.

You saw my house after I had spent a couple weeks tearing it down. Removing carpets and wall paper and paneling.
Just the stuff the ex had fixed up.
I had to fuck it all up.
Now I can remake it back in my image.
Too bad I don't have an excavator and a wrecking ball.
Although now it's turned into a dog house that I'm sharing with a bitch who gets mad at me for 3 days everytime I bathe and spray her.

It's me that needs to thank y'all. I started posting the books I have read as a way to hold myself accountable because I stated I wanted to read about 1 per week and this is a form of holding myself accountable. I give shit reviews and feedback of the books I have read thus far, thank you for gaining anything from it lol

^ that's always interested me cause i've probably read almost every self help book from the big book to the bible and everyone takes away something different
as a kid my brother who was into everything from TM to chanting and EST told me whatever i told myself i wanted everyday i would have and i believe it to be true
of all the things i read i just especially remember certain things that hit me right between the eyes
like "argue for your limitations and sure enough they're yours"
all things are possible for those that choose to dream
find what works for you and recognize no matter how hard you work its always going to come and go like a wave
but when you catch that wave ride it for all its worth because its like magic no question

There are also forms in space that we attract when we operate in this wishful kind of thinking.
Forms of thinking develop that are like spiritual manifestations of this environment being summoned.
This becomes a new personality that takes the place of you inner child who you lock away in a dungeon prison tower.
It only grows worse when you attract multiple personalities to cope and you become a host infested with a legion of demons. Most probably at no real fault of your own. Other than you trusted something bad that looked good.
    Like wishful thinking.
    Electromagnetic influence.
Or the secret law of attraction and reality warping.
Sure who doesn't want to have these abilities they weren't naturally born with.

    Do they work?
    Of course.
    Do they have a cost?
    You betcha!
    Is it worth it?
It guarantees you end up thrown down a deep shaft or in a pit or off a cliff.
Because these entities live in the same dimension that we understand as gravity but it is more like the spirit of death itself.

I would stick more to clerical pursuits and less to self wizardry transformer soul swapping business. If you care for your ever living soul and don't want to end up down in the dumps.
Unless you looking for the toxic avenger.

Started Beyond Order: 12 More Rules For Life by Jordan Peterson. Jordan Peterson says I am insufficiently embedded in the interpersonal world and am in danger of spiraling downward pyschologically.

going back to the school to hang another door today, almost finished and at least its interior
was supposed to have help but i waited too long to get it together and needed to pick up this massive 42" door i ordered
measured it properly so getting it in wasn't bad however getting the old one out was another story
50 years old solid core w painted 20x hinges being held in by 4" flat head screws...went through 5 sawzall blades just on the hinges
then that thing felt like it was filled w cement when it finally came free and i basically had no choice but to lay it down and cut it in pieces to move it
of course the walls aren't anything close to plumb if they ever were so the lock was a battle but at least i could sit and do that
thought i'd sleep well and get up early today but fireworks and a nervous akita took care of that so hoping i can finish and see some game
at least i have Monday if i don't so fuck it steady as she goes
old enough and comfortable enough to pay someone to do this kind of stuff but i guess i never will lol
would be nice to come back from a war like that and hear "how'd it go" w some actual concern instead of "did you pick up my packages"
but again i guess i never will lol

It's a shame you had to cut that thing up. I'd guess it would have had value.
