Good starting pitcher, but I really hope our focus is on BP help - particularly at the back-end.

A cheap power bat, some bullpen help, and maybe 1 starting pitcher.

    Is that too much?

Filipina overruled me on her night
but i don't recall it being about his percentage ownership of the parking lot although that is absurd
i for sure was out when spank was owner
the stadium is about as organized as LAX tbh and their promotions are disco
been dry for 45 days or so so it was weird being surrounding by people paying 100s to slurp beer

lasted 12 years once and i don't really worry about if i feel good or i put in the work i forgot about which is mostly physical
more to do w seeing my bro in law over memorial day and feeling sick about where he was at
which a 5th ave bum leaning against a DT wall can feel about a derelict in the gutter
tonight i went to a debut which is a Filipino 18th bday much like a quinceanera and filled in and made myself of service
plus i get to wake up good to go in my final push to get these shipping containers you may have noticed on the property
getting some big stuff done and just riding the wave
sure it'll drop down into a nice bottle of rum or whiskey of which many now stock my bar lol
btw Go Dodgers! nice comeback tonight

“I hate trading for relievers at the deadline.
It’s my least favorite thing to do.
The acquisition cost is totally out of whack.
So I like to avoid it as much as possible.”

    — Andrew Friedman, Dodgers President of Baseball Operations

Dodgers are actually good at SP, I think. Dodgers are keeping guys healthy by limiting pitch counts, hopefully that continues. Anderson keeps shoving, Gonsolin keeps dominating, Julio is Julio, and Kershaw is Kershaw. Maybe May, Buehler, Heaney and White mix in a couple starts each, but the Dodgers should be looking for back end relievers and possibly an outfield bat more than SP

can't help but feel that Price would be a crazy good reliever if his heart was in it
a guy like that could sense his spot and flat out tell davey how its gonna be
    if

Price is riding off into the sunset after this season and he's come to terms with it. He's been good enough this year.

Then he needs to get resourceful in-house. Get Duffy activated. Find out which relievers in the system can get called up to help. Determine which starters will go to the pen if/when May, Beuhler, and Heaney get healthy. Figure out which guys are viable replacements at closer down the stretch.

If we do, just don't throw him in there against a team that can't hit breaking pitches.

Another example of some of the 2021 Giants' magic wearing off.

Either Orel needs the bucks or he enjoys a good laugh at his own expense.

    • The Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds have held "preliminary" discussions centered around Luis Castillo, according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi.

    100% agree.

He's a fine pitcher but he's not a dominant top of the rotation arm and he's still going to cost a decent haul as there will be several suitors for him.

I'd rather the focus be on relievers and a bat like you said....both would cost less than Luis and help the team more imo
