Yes he probably WILL have a good year for another team while the Dodgers pay most of his salary. Total bullshit - team did nothing wrong, handled it by the book, and are now getting royally shafted. I say keep him. Why should a no scruples team like the Asterisks get to use him on the Dodgers dime? Arbiter cleared him, so let him pitch in Blue.

this whole thing has been a sham since the beginning
    morality, huh?
so it’s okay and (somehow) admirable to literally give partial ownership to a fucken dyke, but a sin to honor the contact of someone who (allegedly) likes rough heterosexual sex
    wtf happened to this world?

considering the source, this could be a positive sign…
    • Bob Nightengale reports that the Dodgers are likely to release Bauer.

my guess is you've also had a little rough action
we go through strange phases as young men and try not to become sodom and gomorrah while living in hedonism
i've had my hands around a womans neck and had the pain reciprocated
not something i'm into at all now but in my 20's i did a lot of strange stuff that didn't draw too much anger or unwanted attention
and toxic masculinity fuck that if there isn't toxic femininity
can only imagine how guys w everything they can ever want manage to stay in control
worst Bauer can be accused of is being stupid at this point and i really hope to see him vindicate himself in a Dodger uni

    that's the thing
this slut saw an opportunity and jumped at it
i still point to the fact that she claimed there were two incidents of "abuse" yet chose to drive up to pasadena all the way from san diego for round two
i would say bauer should counter-sue but what's the point?...
bleeding hearts going to cry crocodile tears for her regardless of what the facts say

I feel the same. You get beat up the first time against your wishes, you don't go back for a second dose. Or in the case of Kobe's accuser, you get raped, you don't go to a party the next day and fuck another guy. Just opportunists seeing big paydays.

I don't think I'm going on a limb here to say that despite the championship in 2020, the team has mostly failed to live up to its potential over the past ten or so years. I'm really bummed to see the large step back that we've taken this offseason, but I can kind of understand the need to "reset" the tax basis. Management has demonstrated that this was the biggest priority. You want to let Trea leave, let Anderson, Heaney, Martin walk, fail to replace them with a DeGrom or Verlander or others, that's fine. You want to give the kids a shot to see if they can deliver? Okay. You want us to believe you're setting the table for a big run at Ohtani next year? Great. But for god's sake, if you're truly going to reset, then reset the manager position as well. Otherwise it's all for naught.

Mets have concerns with Carlos Correa's physical: Sources
Source: The Athletic/By Ken Rosenthal and Dan Hayes

    It’s the physical. Again.

The New York Mets, like the San Francisco Giants earlier in the week, have raised concerns about Carlos Correa’s surgically repaired lower right leg, potentially jeopardizing their 12-year, $315 million agreement with the star shortstop, according to people briefed on the matter who were not authorized to speak publicly.

The parties could agree to a restructured contract if the Mets continue to express reservations about the long-term stability of Correa’s leg. It might be difficult for the Mets to back out of the agreement entirely after their owner, Steve Cohen, went on record talking about the deal. It also might be difficult for Correa to re-enter the free-agent market and land a comparable contract after two clubs identified the same issue in their physical examinations of him.

The new developments are the latest twist in a saga that shocked the baseball world when Correa and his agent, Scott Boras, pivoted Wednesday from their original 13-year, $350 million agreement with the Giants to strike a separate deal with the Mets.
