maybe they use the room exception on a PG. gotta have more than 1 pure PG on the roster even though JC will probably get the backup PG minutes.

perhaps Norris Cole. not really a pure PG, but plays the kind of defense Scott likes. Cole may not wanna back up a 19yr old tho, so maybe not.

random, but i can't believe Jimmer Fredette is already 30yrs old

We're good on guards. Ideally, Kobe does not play G and we pick up a SF and someone who can play both PF and C.

I like the Williams and Bass signings, solid players, it's much better than Jabari Brown and Ryan Kelly.

It looks like we're likely getting rid of all the scrubs from last year. (Swaggy, Kelly, Sacre)

If we can find a way to get Gereld Green or KJ McDaniels or some other SF out there, it could be a real interesting team.

i like Dorell Wright for the 2.8M exception if they do go the wing route. probably a 10-15 minute guy nowadays, but still just 29yrs old with a lot of experience. catch and shoot guy that's not a gunner and can still defend a little bit..already has a ring and would probably embrace playing for the home team this late in his career. in fact he said so on GGN. Lol

he's also close to you know who..that other dude who also went to Leuzinger. give him some security..fuck it..player option for a 3rd year if possible, so he can recruit that other dude after the '16/'17 season. low risk/long term investment.

Gerald Green has a lot of game left. he should've been signed back in 2012 when he was on the D-Fenders. gotta think he gets more than 2.8M tho. 5-7M range

He really should have rushed to sign that franchise tender immediately after injuring his hand.

If we can't find anyone younger for a cheap backup SF, Caron butler reunion anyone? He can shoot the 3, defend a bit, buds with kb24. Maybe we could get him short and cheap?

Hopefully they're done building with Kobe in mind, but I question whether Caron would go for that anyway. He's had multiple chances to return in recent years. Wouldn't shock me if he were ring chasing at 36 years old.

Fresh from agreeing to a trade with the Indiana Pacers for Roy Hibbert, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly working on another blockbuster trade, this time possibly for Chicago Bulls big man Taj Gibson.

According to former NBC Chicago radio host Mike Adamle, the Lakers and the Bulls are working on a sign-and-trade deal involving Jeremy Lin and Jordan Hill, who were both unrestricted free-agents.

While it's true that Lin is at the center of an ongoing sign-and-trade talk, reports indicated the Bulls aren't the ones in discussion with the Lakers, but rather the Dallas Mavericks who have been eager to snag the Asian-American star.

Adamle added that the Bulls are prepared to send one of its players to the Lakers in exchange for either Lin or All-Rookie teamer Jordan Clarkson. It's unclear the identity of the player the Bulls are willing to move, but all indications are pointing to Taj Gibson as the odd man out.

Disturbing video shows Florida State QB punch woman in bar incident
by Luke Zimmermann | SB Nation — 2 hours ago

With Florida State freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson already suspended indefinitely following initial accusations, the State Attorney's Office in Tallahassee, Fla., released surveillance video showing Johnson punching a female student at a bar a month ago.

The quarterback currently faces a misdemeanor battery charge in connection with the incident.

According to Tomahawk Nation and other media reports, the victim suffered multiple injuries to her face and was treated on the scene by medics. After an arrest warrant was issued, Johnson turned himself in before being released on a $500 bond.

Johnson, a Jacksonville product, was an early enrollee for the ‘Noles, arriving on campus this past January. He played in the defending ACC champs' spring game, in which he threw two touchdowns. The 247Sports Composite rating graded Johnson as a three-star.

Florida State is currently seeking to replace former starting quarterback Jameis Winston, the No. 1 pick in the recent 2015 NFL Draft in April. Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson is expected to compete against Winston's principle backup, Sean Maguire, for the position.
