    Pirates' Kang out for year with knee, leg injuries
    ESPN.com — 22 minutes ago
    Pirates shortstop Jung Ho Kang suffered a torn MCL and fractured tibia in Thursday's 9-6 loss to the Cubs and will miss the rest of the season, according to ESPN's Jim Bowden and media reports.​

    Yeah, that's tough, but like us they have pretty good depth on the left side of the infield. Kang has been pretty big for them in some big spots this year tho.

    BTW, I don't know if Coghlan was in the wrong with the slide. Hell, I haven't even seen the play yet. However, I can't stand that rat bastard regardless. He was a thorn in our ass last year from outta nowhere.

    Get 2 out of 3. The off-day gives them an opportunity to throw a viable starter at Cole, instead of a 5 and dive in Bolsinger. While also allowing them to throw Kershaw/Greinke 4 out of 7 games left on the home stand, which lines them up to throw both in SF if need be.
