My only complaint is not calling for the safety squeeze with Kike up. His struggles with RHP is real and it would have been smart to just try to get another run
I guess he figured he wouldn't need any offense from his spot... And if this is the way it happened, then WTF is Mattingly for?
Perspective. If they lose. The sun rises tomorrow. Life goes on. I'm healthy, living and appreciating the ability to watch the game itself. It is only a game.
I put way too much into this. When the sun rises the routine changes. All of a sudden I'm avoiding sports talk radio, ESPN, MLBN, etc. There's no more Dodger talk to listen to on the way go work. There's no game to look forward to. Why does this stuff have such a stronghold on me? To think that the Mets will be celebrating tonight after all that's gone down is sickening.
This is just like last postseason. We had a weakness and it was exploited in the post season (Bullpen), this year our weakness was hitting with RISP and once again it was exploited...
Look on the bright side. I'm sure we'll go about 92-70 again next year and make the playoffs. Then we'll average 2 runs a game in the NLDS and watch some random scrub hit 700 with 4 HR vs us. But at least we'll be division champs again.
Hey all. It's the 7th. There are 2 outs. I'm a pessimist about the Dodgers too, but the game is still really close, and there are still at-bats to get back in the game. Positive vibes. We can do this.
When we don't hit HRs we don't win. The tank of Joc and Grandal hurts. I'm not even sure what to make of Joc going forward.
