    Didn't see any news yet. I read 1 likely candidate is Tyler White. The roster stands at 41 by my count.

    Update: Maeda is still on the roster as of now. Don't know if Luke Raley has to go on the list. Gaterol isn't there yet either.

    I think the format would work better with less games on the regular season schedule. But for money reasons, historical records, etc, that will never happen.

    Glad we have at least 2 more seasons with the way things are. I think the current format is a good balance already

    i’d personally like to go back to a balanced schedule and eliminate interleague play altogether
    mlb used to be the only major sport to have completely separate leagues
    but that fuckboy selig had to go and fuck everything up

    Can’t have balance until we have expansion. We need at least 2 more teams and with the call for stars to have their careers prolonged, we may need to start talking about a 36 team league by 2030.

    The Dodgers have OFFICIALLY traded RHP Kenta Maeda, C Jair Camargo and $10M to the Twins for RHP Brusdar Graterol, OF Luke Raley and the 67th pick in the 2020 draft.

    Nothing yet. Sounds like they’re trying to pull off another trade, but Tyler White and Kyle Garlick make the most sense, but the Dodgers have too many big leaguers for 26 man roster and some other moves may need to be made.

    if Roberts can figure out a way to keep everyone happy when Joc/Enrique/Pollock/Lux/Taylor would have limited at bats, it'd be unreal to have that as basically our bench

    If Joc is around to get his 500 PAs and Stripling gives them ~100 innings (15 starts), this team has a chance to win more games than in 2019, it's absurd.

    I could live without Hernandez. His highest and best use is as a strict platoon partner against left-handed pitching. His career numbers indicate a perfect fit to platoon with Joc, but I think his numbers have slipped enough to fall behind Pollock and maybe even Taylor on the depth chart.

    Enrique showed a lot of progress a couple seasons in a row going into 2019, decreasing his strikeout rate, among other things. understandably, the Dodgers tried to see if they could transition into an everyday second baseman. That was proven to be wishful thinking early on in the season, but they stuck with him and somewhat ruined him. A dude with a lifetime ops of 600ish against right-handed pitching was not likely going to magically turn into an everyday player.

    I suppose it never hurts to have too many versatile players, especially with a decent amount of guys you get hurt on the roster, though.
