a ubiquitous divisiveness has existed between northern and southern ireland for eons protestant v catholic, samuels v guiness, bushmills v jameson, british rule v independence couple that with a pervasive unwillingness from either region to acknowledge (in any way) the other's views, stance, etc so although the same island, lumping the northern and southern territories together as one is equilavent to lumping the midwest and deep south into the united states... which, appropriately enough, leads us to incest... people don't molest family members because they drink people drink because they've molested or been molested by family members psych and developmental issues can be contributing factors to anything but they're not always the reason imo a better explanation would simply be fucked up people doing fucked up shit and incest is no more commonplace in éire than say the aforementioned midwest and southern united states only difference is micks drink whiskey, while white trash americans drink bud and do meth
That was the spirit of what I wrote. It's not the local water that's the problem. It's the cure for the ills. But it begets the new cycle. Once you drink a bottle on your own you are hooked. And once hooked you are liable to spill faulty seed. But the health is in the mother. All mother's can be saints and fix all generational problems. And if they can't then it's up to their children to save them. Because in the end all mother's are saints. One way or another.
I like the catholic diet. Most days only protein and fat with some greens. But no bread or wine. On the weekends feasting on bread and wine is just fine. And twice on Sunday. During the holiday season feast and be merry like if it's a 40 day weekend. All will be forgiven. Then fast with nature's bounty during the weeks of first fruits in late January and February with veggies unfoul fowl and clean fishes. And on the first day of march you call the butcher again and just say no to the starch. Oh wait that's the ketolic diet. Same word with similar meaning. Die. So you may live.
hmmm... grandma smoked since she was 20 and lived to 88 mom was thrown in an internment camp in the prime of her young life and lived to 90 pops served in the marines in ww2 and smoked and drank a lot, before quitting both in the late 1980's... he lived to 95 not saying you shouldn't take care of yourself -- you should but i'd sure hate to find out (after the fact) that i could have eaten more steak and didn't need to give up whiskey die so you may live... or live like you'll die tomorrow
You do realize you’re not saved right? Catholics worship idols, pray to saints, and believe a number of other things inconsistent with the Bible. If you want salvation, I suggest you become a Christian. Ask @THINKBLUE, I’m sure he agrees with me.
Christians we have our own false idols too. They are just a little newer. One thing I do like about Christianity over Catholicism is that one is part of a theocratic centrally organized political kingdom while the other is a loose association of smaller confederations of local privately owned and community supported small businesses. At one you have to pay to use the facilities and get rites if you want to get married or have another one of the required civil ceremonies performed. In the other you tithe if you want to or not but the tithers are like the senior members who help appoint the moderators and fund the organization. And if you need to use the facilities they are free and nobody gets paid for the ceremony. Plus more than a few members will volunteer to help as ushers or with food or flowers for your wedding party. People you may barely know. Because its all in that good spirit.
Catholics always win the 'we also Christians' debate. Hands down. Or up... Depending where the catholics bodyguard with the sword commands you to put your hands. Point is they always win the debate.
