    some would say that moving him out or down lineup would impact his psyche and confidence.

    Honestly I don’t think it matters. Roberts if obviously trying to get some confidence in Barnes by playing him more than usual. He sucks at the plate. We seen enough of it to know it’s true. That is the one gripe I have with Roberts at moment.

    Analytics say to bat your best hitter 1st. Second best hitter 2nd. Your best remaining slugging guy 4th. After that best to worst 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. The logic is pretty simple, you want the most AB's for your best players.

    LA has the best winning percentage vs any team against Pads the past few seasons. It’s like .700+.

    I don't see that as having a bearing on these games in Aug., 2020. Except to beat us as much as they possibly can.
    The past is the past. Right now, this team is outplaying us and has more heart.
