How exciting. It’s so great to know we can win this thing on a computer simulation. Makes me so excited. Why play the games? Fangraphs has us pumping up our numbers.

if Jansen goes on the IL, will that number jump to 60%?

May for 2-3 innings then Urias. Tony smokes starts game 4 if needed.

Ever see a photo of Harry Truman's desk nameplate ?
Well, Dave Roberts has one too...but his reads, " the buck stops somewhere else".

I know this is the wrong thread but this is hilariously ironic coming from a guy who supports Donald Trump

    #Padres Lineup for Game 3 #NLDS

    Grisham CF
    Tatis SS
    Machado 3B
    Hosmer 1B
    Pham LF
    Moreland DH
    Myers RF
    Cronenworth 2B
    Castro C

That’s a lot of lefties in there against May, who struggles against them sometimes. Wasn’t expecting them to go that far left handed. Wonder if now they go with Urias behind May, use Gonsolin tommorow if needed, I think that’d work

I’m still in shock that Cody made that catch whole blazed out of his god damn mind

I know Meyers hasn’t done all that much this series but it’s weird to me that they’ve had him down in the order pretty much all year. He finished the season with a better OPS than both Tatis and Machado and was their late inning clutch guy most of the year too

    Muncy
    Smith
    Bellinger

interesting to see Pederson at DH, gotta get him going though and I guess they think a righty is backing up Morejon

always a risk exposing both catchers, but would have preferred barnes in there
    or maybe even kiké...

I'd like to see Playoff P get it going tonight in the DH spot.

I expect that Morejon will only get one go through the order, and they probably take him out after the Pederson AB whether it's in the 3rd or the 1st. I'm guessing this is more about just keeping R-L-R-L integrity knowing this is a bullpen game, so it's pointless to match up with the "starter".

Is there irrefutable evidence that Cody is a stoner ? I admit, I'm pretty far removed from being one these ancient days, ad not astute at recognizing it anymore, but some people just have eyes that look the part.

so i guess hitting smith 5th is to help get him going?
meanwhile pollock and taylor, who were already going, seem to be cooling off while continually hitting down in the order
