    TBF, Kershaw did look like vintage Kershaw during the "season". I don't know who was out there yesterday. They were lucky to get 5 innings out of him yesterday.

    The issue with Kershaw is they badly want him to be the hero. To be the ace. It happened in 2017. But the Astros cheated and took that away.
    Now, they have to realize Kershaw is a really good regular season pitcher but let him go five and hope your bullpen can close it down.

    Look at the actual pitches and location leading up to that 6th - curveballs above the strike zone, fastballs over the heart of the plate being fouled off, fastballs missing spots by several inches. I'm pretty sure dude bounced a curveball 20 feet in front of the plate to Freeman and bounced a fastball 10 feet in front of someone else.

    I've read all the Kershaw shit and processed the vitriol about him and what he's done, or hasn't done, and what an annoyance or flat out washed up scumbag he is. Maybe it's all justified, maybe not. Personally, I'm not defending him, or excoriating him. I also don give a fuck who loathes the guy or doesn't.
    But I do have one question: what the fuck is the difference if he gave up 4 runs or 5 runs, or should have or shouldn't have been lifted sooner or later than he was, when the offense gets three fucking hits in a playoff game ?

    Everyone is to blame for sure. But I was hoping that Betts was a wild card we did not have in the past. CK....it’s just that we’ve seen this before.

    For me, CK should’ve been treated like an opener. 4 innings max for him and take him out no matter the score. That’s just how you need to treat him in the post season.

    If Cody shared half of his daily pregame j with Kershaw I think both guys would be studs. Problem is Kershaw’s fundie Christian ass probably pisses himself a little and shoots up a silent Hail Mary whenever he sees Belli light up

    I really thought he was the piece to put them over the top in the post.

    Then I looked up his numbers with Boston in the postseason and started to have my doubts.
