Abels pets and friends would cross into Cain's land.

He farmed and smithed and built up cities and towers.
Offering up incredible bounties due to capitalism and socialism creating maximum efficiency.

Abel was a garden loving landscaper who lived and cared for animals on the outskirts of the steppe.
He wasn't even really good at his job to be honest. Unlike hard working and industrial Cain.
Abel had to care for 100 pets but he couldn't even do that right.
He lost one and abandoned his job to feed and care over the other 99 so he could find the loser one. Leaving the 99 to his friends the watchers to pastor over them.
What a loser just like his lost sheep, at least according to the sons of Cain.

Of course Abel didn't want to put the Indios to work. And that's the only way the gears of industry turn. By the hand power of Indios.
That's why Abel gardened instead of farmed. A farm is a tax collecting device and a concentration of Indian manpower.
You can't have farming without slavery of one kind of another.
And toy can't have big cities without farming.
Aka why slavery is mandatory for northern cities to exist.
But you can garden anywhere.
And it doesn't take a whole lotta manpower.

Cain was a slave to the grind.
And his people slave to the land.
Their estate became their reality.
So they made lances to hang flags from.
Because they were afraid of losing what they worked so hard for.
Yet nobody love them for all their hard work. Not even god who would have loved him even if he was a lazy dirtbag like Abel.
