    The term "in the lead" always cracks me up during free agency. According to who?

    Like the agent calls the reporter and says, we have offers from a, b, c and d and we like them in this order. It's hilarious.

    Or you've talked to the GM of each team and know what their offer is to said player?

    Just looking at one of the sports betting sites, and they currently have SF and NYY as the only real options for Judge, with SF favored.

    I feel like you can't let Judge get away. Unless he REALLY wants to be on the west coast, there's no excuse for not getting this done if you are the Yankees. Literally whatever he asks for, you give him.

    Imo, the Phillies have made the signing of the year. TT, however long he lasts physically, and it could be substantial, will help a team win more than 20 games a year like Verlander. Verlander's age, too may be flirting with dates on the IL just like the "indestructible" Mad Max's did inevitably.
    Great move by Philadelphia, and a leg up for years to come, likely, for post season appearances.

    Interesting - of the 3 remaining SS's, the Sportsbook I've been checking for free agency odds gives us the best odds to sign Xander. Seems interesting since I feel like we've heard more talk about Correa and possibly Swanson.

    I don't think we sign any of them.
