i lather myself up just fine with my african black soap made from neem and other essential oils ;)
    dodgers will win this year
    it is destiny time again
and this time we will repeat
and the foundation is laid for many championships down the road
we will be the braves if the braves would have capitalized on their well run organization by having more cash to strike when the iron is hot
i expect us to pump our offense next year with someone like a Dozier, Braun, Villar or at least a Desmond.

I agree with everything you said except the bolded statement. Once again, the FO has shown absolutely NO inclination to go big on a FA. I don't see that changing except under 'emergency' conditions.

The 'destiny time again' strikes home to me because, in my mind (you don't wanna go in there), I see resemblance to the '88 team. Call me a tottering old fool, but this team is coming together with contributions from unexpected sources.

As far as the 'cash to strike' reference, yeah it's there. But I tend to believe they are holding the line on that for extensions for Urias, Seager, Pederson, De Leon, etc when the time comes.

The first 3 are trade candidates, only Desmond is a FA and he should cost less than Reddick. If i had a choice i would sign Desmond just because he mashes lefties and can remove the need for Kike, Culberson, Taylor and any other weak link from wasting a roster spot.

Sign desmond and trade for dozier or villar.
Although Villar would fix all our known issues.
Runs supremely well. Prototypical basestealing leadoffman.
    Lefty killer.
    Plays all over the infield.
He even has 20 hr power that looks to keep growing.
Is only 25 which makes me think the brewers will find a place for him off of SS even if they have to bump their 2b or 3b.
They have some solid OF and SP prospects already too which is what we would mostly offer.
So Dozier and Desmond make the most sense.
