No real surprises outside of Ruiz since he needs some MLB AB's after missing so much time.

He’s also said plenty of times until Kersh is no longer a Dodger, he’ll be the opening day starter.

The last representatives of the thing of the Goths.
Who died fighting the usurping rebel Angles.
When the Scotti where called Skythe.
And they sky was their shield.
    You know that blazon.
Then you might know their enemy too.
Both colors united makes the color real.
Do you know about the thing?
There is a book of things, of all the things and all the happenings.
The thing about things is that they are where kings are made.
A happening is a thing of things.
And there are a lot of happenings.
A king never begs for what rightly belongs to him.
It must be rendered back as tribute.
Anyone who does not accept this cannot enter the kingdom.
Because only kings belong at the thing.
    Where everyone is a king.
    And no king is good.
But its good to be the king.
When someone wants to mess up another kings crown.
Only time you ever have to/get to exercise your kingly duties.
Never when someone comes for your crown though.

I don't know how the weather is where you live right now.
But I do know that you guys have a much more intimate relationship with water than we do in socal.
    Water is.
    Weather comes.
And when it comes it pours.
In such ways was the milky way seeded by the Goths.
The oriental side may be the fertile crescent but the land of the people powered by the Gale and the Gust is the land of milk and honey.
And the Levant is just a small corner nike front inside the mountain of crooks and crevices from which the god of storms operates the weather dominator.
Weathers been nice today but a for a few days the sky was brought a little low and the clouds were at my level.
You could look out the window and see an almost endless sea surrounded by mountainwalls on each side with the city of LA as an island city floating off in the distance.

The Caucasus literally was a melting pot.
    Of peoples and water.
    Of god and man.
    When the levee breaks.
    All that weather spills over.
Like a spear through the side of a swollen bladder.
May your weather be sweet as wine not sour as vinegar.
Even if you have the mark of the diabetes.
    Its never too late.
As long as you have a little grace.
A little goes a long way.
As long as you schmear it.
If you keep your little grace to yourself it goes rancid by the next turn.
    And then you outta manna.
Which is the only thing you can use to play your white card.
    The high ground.
Without higher ground the enemy wins.
The manna ramp you get from the high ground is like a tree of life.
Abundant everlasting life comes forth from it.

Money does not grow on trees.
But you ever meet people who did grow up on trees?
Who spent their childhood climbing up and down them like if they were a chipmunk or a squirrel?
    They are the best.
    People see them suspiciously though.
Because a rat is a rat.
    And nobody likes a rat.
Specially one that spreads is saggy arms as it flaps and floats flying all night like some kind of songbird in the sky.
    Or is it a plane?
Nah its just some old wingbat.
    Practicing the art of Wu-Tang!

    • Kershaw’s velo was WAY down in his last start, which is why he threw in the B game. I haven’t heard how things went in terms of his overall stuff.
    • Gavin Lux has been pretty impressive at camp and I’ve seen him make a handful of slick plays. 2B is looking like it’s going to be his out the gate.
    • Keibert Ruiz is on fire at the plate to start camp and Tony Gonsolin came away very impressed by him after throwing with him today. He had RBI hits from both sides of the plate today and has now gone 4-4. Robert’s said earlier that they were all thrilled with what they saw from Ruiz after being such a late addition to camp. He’s got an open stance batting LH, but his RH swing reminded me of a less violent Adrian Beltre. It could also be the camera angle.

RIP Elgin Baylor, my high school basketball idol. He could hang in the air like no other. If they got the extra step they get now without the walk/ travelling call they got back in the day, I believe he would have been one of the top three scorers of all time.
As it is, he scored 64 pts. in one game...and he wasn't a physical giant.
    Thanks for memories, Elgin.

Jordan before anyone heard of Jordan.

When he retired he was the third leading rebounder of all time behind Wilt and Russell despite being 6-5.

    RIP a true Laker legend.

I remember emulating his hesitation shots off the drive, stopping in mid air, bringing the ball down then back up again in the most creative and amazing ways.
As a forward ( when a 6'2" guy was big enough to be one) , I copied eveything he did. Of course he had to do it, with guys hanging all over him.
I did it because it looked so cool, even if I could have avoided all the extra moves and gone straight in for a layup.
    No. 22.
    Minneapolis Lakers....unforgettable.

I mentioned Jordan before Jordan. He was Doc before Doc.

Nice testimonial from old teammate and friend Jerry West.

Reminds me of the McDonald's customer who got scalded. Yeah, coffee is hot. I don't need a written clause on the cups to tell me so. And baseballs traveling at 100 mph can jack up someone's face. Common sense. Stupidity should not be rewarded.

hahaha, that was funny. Best parts

    1. Roberts seemed legit worried, which was hilarious on it's own. Like "fuck, did JT get a concussion?"
    2. Joe Kelly was easily the creepiest as he just answers and stares vacantly into the phone.
    3. I have heard on multiple occasions that Buehler is a walking F-bomb, so it cutting out right when he was about to drop one is hilarious.
    4. Dude... Seager was 100% fried.

    mlbtraderumors...
    • The Mets have come to terms on a ten-year, $341MM contract extension with star shortstop Francisco Lindor, covering the 2022-31 seasons. Lindor will be paid a $21MM singing bonus, followed by flat $32MM salaries in each year of the deal. $5MM of the annual salaries will be deferred, paid annually from 2032-41, for a total of $50MM in deferrals. The deal also contains a fifteen-team no-trade clause without any opt-out provisions.
