So what's up with the Padres? Fuckers never lose nowadays and Machado is playing at an MVP level. They just destroyed the Giants in a 3 game sweep at SF and beat the first place Brewers last night. Surprised they're doing all of this without Tatis. Maybe he was the problem in the clubhouse?

The good news is that the Giants have fallen off a cliff. Losers of 5 straight and a 10 run beatdown at the hands of the Mets last night.

 

It's weird timing but I can rest easier knowing there's a clubhouse option after next season. If Treinen returns and pitches like his normal self, 8 million dollars would be viewed as a highway robbery for him. I get where you're coming from because we all saw what happened to Brandon Morrow after 2017 and there's always the chance he's never the same again which would be a massive blow imo. His ability to slot into the closer position and handle numerous high leverage situations has made him so valuable for the Dodgers.

Kind of crazy that in the NL, there are only three non division leaders with a winning record. Meaning that if the season ended today, just one team above .500 would miss the playoffs.
