I think he did. I think a lot of guys give out cookies to well known veterans. But you don't admit it. I know a lot of guys may not like him for being a Yankee, but Jeter is a legend. You don't take away a nice moment for him by saying it.

But it's still a stupid thing to do on the field with Mike fucking Trout and Miguel Cabrera hitting right behind him. Especially when this fucking game decides home field advantage.

Oh he didn't complain about the towels again, I kinda worded that stupidly. Was just saying like if he was going to complain about the white towels (you know about the white towels, Matt Holliday incident right?)

Wainright's flapping lips were a classless element to this overblown popularity game.
I heard nothing from CK, Zack, or Dee....all they did is go out there and play BB the way it's supposed to be played. Nice pitching by our 1&2, and hustle to tie it and a great play by Dee. CK was classy when asked about the starting "snub" by Metheny. Wainright sucked, but of course it was by design...haha. Douchbaggery at it's peak.
Too bad Puig can't shut up and tone down on all the drama...it got old pretty quickly, for me anyway.
Seriously bush, even if you are a multi millonaire on the LAD from Cuba.

    Con mucho gusto.
I know what your saying though. I think with Yasiel, "a picture is worth a thousand words" is front and center.

Gwynn was honored during his last AS game in 2001 when the game was stopped long enough for Selig to come onto the field present him and Ripken with awards. He had his moment, last night was about someone else.

I didn't watch the allstar game, because I never do. But it sounds like it didn't disappoint this year. Once again the NL manager fucks the Dodgers in the ass right in front of everyone, as old players who are barely average and guys who had a hot start for the first three weeks of the season get way too much attention. Now that the sideshow is over, we can get back to real baseball.

Well, that and you are half her age, I'd say it is pretty relevant.

Son of a bitch. I actually agree with this. You can't honor Gwynn without honoring Welch and any other baseball figure who passed away this year. Where do you draw the line of importance? Only Hall of Fame players are worthy? The ASG was about Jeter and it was from the moment he announced his retirement at the beginning of the season. That's just the way it is. Gwynn has been honored in many ways and will be honored again just not at this years ASG. I was 100% ok with it.
